nice try, but you can't just eliminate Woodville out of your history. Next you'll be wanting that 3 square cm of green off the jumper too...

The West Torrens Council should continue bringing it up to standard, & the SANFL in return can support them by making it the ground for- State games, Finals (excluding GF), SAAFL finals etc, & stop using Adelaide Oval, as it's not suitable as a SANFL venue (too large & sparse)

I'm not sure about all this up to standard talk, even in its current guise its better than Unley.

yes, but we expect better of the SANFL- they have coin, we realise that a bunch of broke tax cheats would be lucky to have electricity at Oxford Ave.... (if that's not a 5hitload of berley in the water, I dunno what is! )

Totally agree

Yeah, the fact that you live 5 minutes down the road would have nothing to do with it would it Ian?
Only if he has to pick me up first! However, I think the SANFL would be beter of using Thebbie more often, especially for state games, etc.

I disagree. Firstly, it is/was talked about as an option should the council up the rates to a ridiculous amount at Woodville. Secondly, I'd much rather see SANFL finals played at Adelaide Oval. The SANFL is a great competition and deserves to have finals played at a superb venue like Adelaide Oval. If SANFL finals were moved to a suburban ground the crowds will drop significantly once again.

I quite enjoyed the atmosphere of the State game at Port Melbourne. Thebarton would have a similar feel for such a game.

A friend of mine went to Unley yesterday and still got stuck in the mud. Thebby would be an awesome Venue for Night games, Finals, etc. When Westies played the Eagles back at Thebby it was awesome the atmostphere was electric thats the way the SANFL should be.
