Your thinking of the wrong Feltus, there is one who plays for Western Districts in Mid West who would be playing for EP and is a multi medalist, the other Feltus started in the SGL and moved on but is back.

It is going to be a very interesting run to the finals.

Souths and Lions are clearly the top 2 sides. They both run the ball well from defence and just seem to play with a bit more heart. Westies have suprised a few people with their win against Souths and may cause an upset come finals time. Sollies and Centrals will play out for the fourth position. If Centrals can win 2 of the next 3 games, they will make the finals.

Centrals are starting to look pretty ominous, if they can nail down that 4th spot they'll be a real show for back to back flags for sure.

Well done to the Port boys on getting their first points for the year!

Centrals arent looking any more ominous than us I wouldnt have thought!! (Is that you Ray? ;) ). Is going to be a battle between the 2 to make the 4 though, thats for sure. We play Centrals next week too so the scene is set!The battle between Money and Mongrel!!

this year lions will not make the grand final they haven't beaten west or south this year if my memory serves me correctly. i wouldnt be suprised if central play them in the first final and knock them out. lions will have another good year with no results at the end of it because when the pressure is stepped up in finals they can't handle it and in september it's hot and windy and they rely on their run and skills hard to do when it's like that. they won't win a flag for years until they stop believing the hype they drum into themselves and learn to get the hard ball and earn their own possessions instead of relying on marsland to do it all the time.

You're probably not too far off the mark there. However Brodie Lavis is back and McNicol is starting to show some ticker plus Dan Sieber & Kane Irvine to come back in, the Lions will start to harden up as the finals approach.

I don't know about Centrals beating them in the knocout final, Lions pretty much out classed them a week or two ago.

Whats the deal with Garry Hull playing b grade for centrals? Was he dropped because of form?

Central Wolves were too good for us Sunday. Our skills let us down big time. Still hope to snatch back fourth spot next week though.

Was wondering the same Diddy? You pricking your ears up like that might be an indicator that you blokes are still keen on him? Read the second half of your sentence again and save your cash. (If youve got any left!! ;) )
On another note has there been a bit of infighting at Southern Flinders Tigers? Ive heard some of the massive egos you have assembled from far and wide are not entirely happy with a few things! If you are really a Southern Flinders fan you would know what Im talking about. Care to enlighten us. :weedman:

South confirmed favouritism on Sunday. Lions are only just going, a number of players going around well under 100% fit.

South are going around very nicely, will be hurt with Adam Grantham doing his knee. I still think Lions and Westies could give it a big shake and Centrals will do more damage than Sollies.

I will find myself in Pt Pirie this weekend and am wondering if there
is any games on Sat or Sun that I could wander along to?
I wont have access to a car, but am happy to do some walking.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

The Madigan Medal was run and won last night with Ryan Struck (South) and Tyron Price (Sollies) sharing the medal on 18 votes.

Levi Goodridge (Lions) made it back to back B-grade medals and Dylan Butler won the u/18 medal by a margin of 19 votes

Well played lads!
