EF : Unley Def Salisbury - Home ground advantage is distinct - sides are similar in strength.

QF : Golden Grove Def Greenacres - Home ground advantage again

SF1 : Greenacres Def Unley - Playing twice on that disgrace of an oval will catch up with them, plus Greenacres are better.

SF2 : Pooraka Def Golden Grove - Yep, changed my mind on this one. Two weaks on a heavy track is too much of a disadvantage. Pooraka will start rusty and may trail at Quarter time and the half but will run over them if they keep working.

PF : Greenacres Def Golden Grove - Greenacres with the confidence of the win against Unley and vengeance on their mind will reverse the result of the Qualifying Final.

GF : Pooraka Def Greenacres - Pooraka will have more legs

I got both last week, so I'll stick with my week 2 of finals picks...

Devestating loss for the Burras at Pooraka today.

Scores even, the siren blew and the crowd thought we were going into overtime and I'm sure half the players did too, until the Pooraka boys all threw their hands in the air in victory... someone (I still have no idea who) had assed a point on the siren :(

Great game at Pooraka today. Ronnie Rankine kicked the point with ball uin the air as the siren went. Couldn't ask for a better finals game. Go the Bulls

Great game. Ronnie had pleny of chances to seal the game early in the qtr, so he would have been very relieved his final kick snuck in for a point. Suspect Greenies might reverse the result next week and play bulls in the GF

IMO Golden Grove went too defensive with too much time left on the clock in the last quarter. GG had a 1 point lead and put all their players in their defensive half with at least 5 minutes to go. When ever they tried to clear the ball it went straight back into Pooraka's forward 50.

Bingo - the flood didn't work. They had 1 person forward of the centre circle in the dying minutes of the game and on at least 4 occasions found themselves wanting as those that probably should have been to the ball first, not getting there, causing costly turnovers. Also kept Marshall on for about a quarter too long IMO... he looked tired.

Good win by the Greenacres Boys at Hicks Park yesterday... so I guess we will be back at Harpers Memorial Pool this week to resume hostilities against the Grove Lads

Hopefully with a bit of sun and little rain the lads will be able to stand in the shallow end and keep their shorts dry ;)

Does Mr Boxer put the best players in the paper for GG. Naylor gave him a touch up for most of the day and he didn't do much when moved away from him. Does not like to chase out of the forward line. Let his man run off him to many times

Exactly right FREDDO. Probably cost us in the end.
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

3 times now Choccies. Agreed Johnny's a good player. I know the boxers and Bodie from softball so i'm not having a go, Just don't think he was in your best players on Saturday, which i did see. As an old farmer, being that close to GG people 3 times in one year is definatly enough ;)

Very happy boy, first GF appearance, was emergency for IF in 2005 when he was 15, but Walshy got the call up and kicked 3 or 4, good move. Hope he gets to experience the feeling of winning one
