Mate of mine has used them with no worries at all. I'll definitely be grabbing my next pair from there. Some of the specials are bloody low prices.

I'm trying to buy a pair now but all the ASICS shoes are shipped to US adresses only

Check out wiggle.co.uk they are prety good prices and free shipping. Have bought from them before with no problems

Ah, that would explain the comment my mate made about the site being no good for ASICS. I saw them on the list and thought he had it wrong. The rest should be OK.

ASICS blocked the export of their shoes out of USA last year because they were loosing so much money, with an increasing number of Australian's etc buying online! cheap F*****G bastards. ASICS threated eastbay that if they were caught exporting that they would stop providing them with shoes to sell. i had bought upwards of 20 pairs online until they stopped! all at about half normal price!

Anyone stuck to their training program?

I've tried, but shin splints are killing me.
Banged out an 8.5km run in just under 40 mins last night, but tonights run will be a struggle.

Try ebay.com and that will search USA, I bought 2 pairs of GT2150 for $265 Aus delivered to my door. One pair cost 160 at least in Aus
Type in the asics & the model number and their are numerous stores that will ship to Aus at half the price you buy them here.

How did people go?

I disabled my alarm instead of hitting snooze, and then didn't wake up til 7:30. Quickly rushed into the city and managed to get started at 8:50 with the walkers. Apart from a sore left shin got through it ok. Perfect running weather.

Still being out at a pub at 1ish the night before isnt the best preparation.
