Pag, looks like your C grade game is still at Salisbury, could they not play that game early saturday morning before your A and B grade?

would Unley oval hold up for three games on a day?

Would have been great for all you to play at the same ground?

Went past their oval yesterday doesnt look like it would hold up for one game!!

D.Verocci 5 games, 4 BOG's walks away with the medal with 14 votes... It couldn't happen could it? Good to see Dr Death up there, a new face to the football world but attacks the ball hard like there is no one but him on the field. R.Miles just goes all day and has been doing the same for 30 years. R.Lee, two years in a row he has strung some good football together, Hopefuly he can come back from the bung shoulder/infected chest/bruised heart problem he has had over the past 2 months and contribute to the finals race, was starting to look good in the twos also.

W. Evans (Uni) to win it easily. Standout player.

Agree with this as standout player in this division & deserves to win it.

Good luck to Golden Grove, Salisbury & Unley as u all have your work cut out to beat Uni this year.

I agree, Evans should win easliy, clearl;y the best player running round. I know i will get the standard "playing my mates" answer but why wouldnt he play any higher than C4?

because he wants to play with his mates and get a flag in this division- this has eluded him for three years so he feels there is unfinished business.
+ he could only train once a week, often not all and, as a club, we've all seven sides in the finals this year and the c grade (div 7) select those who train more regularly.

Like I said standard response, surely if he wanted to play higher only training once a week he would be good enough for your Div 7 side, the guy can play. He is young, tall and fit. In my opinion too good for this comp. I hope he has an off day this sunday ;)

Good win by Uni yesterday, we were lucky to still be in the game after half time! Better second half from us, Salisbury wont be a walk in the park so we need to be on this weekend. Im hoping my baby cow will come good before the weekend, hurts today :(

Salisbury were lucky to escape, a 5 minute burst almost lost us the game, but two five minute bursts won us the game.

I don't understand why, come finals, the pre match routine changes? Why not stick to what it tried and tested all year?

Kilburn Oval has been drafted for this week's GG v Salisbury clash. Nice big oval to run around on....

Great to get over the line on the weekend, Salisbury were no easy beats and was really only in the last 15 minutes tha we kicked away, three really tight games for us this year.

Now hope we can get over Uni this week!

What number did you wear TEX? We gave a few guys a bit of stick on the outer side but was all in good fun.

I was the guy that did his hammy right in front of you guys in the last quarter! I think you made mention that i would have caught the ball if it were a mars bar? 8) Was all good, had worse insults from my wife! I did the one thing to get to the ball that I havent done all year and that was sprint :( . You dont play footy heavy and not get used to comments from supporters never have let it bother me and never will. I have given my fair share watching in my time!

I played the majority of my footy out at Kilburn Pag so I have been used to guys standing where you guys were shouting, used to be with a mega-phone!

Haha, I've played heavier this year mate and did a hammy so I knew the feeling.

Your boys deserved the win, our redhead went off with a hammy at 1/2 time and we missed him in the second half, thought Tuckwell was good for you boys, used his body and size really well. What was Jeremy Brook doing playing C Grade?

When he went off you lost a fair bit actually!

Brooky was unlucky to miss out on the B grade this week, I tought he reacted really well though. He will be handy for us this week. We had a heap of players come back in the A and B grade this week and unfortunately someone had to miss out, we had two others come back to. Good position for the club to be in but sucks ar$e for those guys. Tucky is real handy at this level. He has been out for about a month so can only get better this week!

Hammys suck the big one, mine luckily is not torn, just got back from physio, just strained so im still hopeful for this week. The great thing about the C grade comp is the 7 on the bench!

The mighty burras prevailed by 5 goals. Bloody tough conditions down at Thebarton with gale wins but our back 6 were awesome and won us the game in the 2nd quarter when Uni had the breeze. OH YEAH!!
