OL... Bill Goldberg was a former NFL player, and pro wrestler... Actually reasonably impressed with the comparison...

Maybe CU likes me... ;)

just checked the country footy web site and no best for rudall but a few in the best and considering they won only two games for the year he would have to think himself very fortunate but its in the records books now and good luck to him. and to win by 15 votes ahead of kane schubert

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Was speaking to the EE Mortlock coach on Saturday and he said that Parkes from Rudall had been a standout player this season and would give the medal a shake, so probably not such a huge surprise that he won it.

My predictions for tonight:
1st Tied: Matt Keatley and Paul White 14 votes
3rd: Andrew Jericoh 12 votes

Muzza has had an outstanding season and will go very close but I am not sure how the umpires would have seen his games, he had a lot of bags of 5+ goals and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins it. Keatley is a proven vote getter and will come home very strong again. White and Jericoh both had stand out seasons AGAIN.

Roughie: Ziek Kay

Ziek is only 16 and won the best under 21 for the comp which can be a bit of indication of how the umpires votes are going to go. For Ziek to win this award ahead of Jesse Kemp is a great effort, although Kemp did miss a few games with Port Adelaide committments.

Ziek played on K Betts on the wing earlier this season and I reckon Ziek had about 40 possessions that day and I can't recall young Betts touching the ball and MP thinks K Betts is going to be the next big thing to come out of Lincoln.

Centenary looked a picture at 3/4 time in the A,s what the heck is it going to be like over the next two weeks.
TFC are pretty keen to see Snake get off and for him to be available for next week. Nice letters to the league last week by two clubs we know who you are :) . As for the disgraceful and underhanded manuvouring that went on last week by a supposedly unbiased official in regards to attempting the complete removal of Semmler from Centenary and from him being unable
to coach, and then leaking it through the umpires panel on Thursday night but not having the common decency to issue it
formally, As Derren Hinch said "shame shame shame"

he is rudalls best player by a country mile, and has been their best player against cleve in all 3 games this year, its not his fault his coach / football club dont give him the best player award every week like they should!! he defiantly deserves the medal and it wasnt a surprise to see him win (however i do agree that its a joke he can poll 6/6 votes in a game his team looses by over 20 goals, but this has happened regularly in EEFL over the past years and again is not his fault).
well done parksey, great lad, very good footballer and would dominate in many leagues on EP, deserves all the success he gets!!

If you're the best player on the field, the result should not matter. It's not about winning or losing really, it's about being the fairest and best player on the park.
I reckon Parkes was at the Eagles at under age level, so there's no doubting he is a skillful player.
I think the year Daniel Lee (RIP) won it he only got named BOG by Rudall twice.

interesting that in the B' grade M Pickett cleaning up 2 souths players, both times had no eyes for the ball, 50m and no reports umpires seen both and let the second one go

thats true, but in most games of football i have played / watched, the team winning by 20+ goals normally has twice as much of the ball, which allows their players to have a bigger impact on the game.
