"I was told it was " would infer that Just Quietly didn't actually see the incident and therefore is going on hear say.

Fair enough, panther. but there have been a few reports on here (and to me from people at the game) that were all exactly the same.
In the end, Blackwood get the yips AGAIN.
The uris Lofty game will be a corker, fair bit of recent finals rivalry there. The heart's with the Devs but the head says Uris. if Lofty got through I genuinely think they could give the Roos a shake, their 2 games have been pretty tight this year.
B grade - I reckon you're right, Flanker - Cabbage to put the Roos out in straight sets.

Silky Skills...welcome back. Must have some time on your hands to suddenly be the HFL expert, been out to a few games have you? Lofty's given Barker a shake in both their games so far so why wouldn't I think they'd do it again? I actually think this week is more of a threat for Lofty, uris seem to match up better and have the wood on the Devs for the past coupla years.

Is Gordon fit to play this week and how about Kane McLean who went to the change rooms during the 3rd term on saturday ?

Nothing more scary for a team i think than going into a GF undefeated. The opposition has the perception it has nothing to loose and plays with a sense of freedom, while the undefeated team can tense up and "choke".

hi panther
i put up a few missing posters along the banks of the onkaparinga river and surrounding areas. but of course it was labelled with my personal details. my wife sews patches with my name, address and phone number in all of my garments. have had a few hankerchiefs sent back in the mail from overseas business trips before but wasnt at all hopeful of getting my cap back. good to know there are still a few honest folk out there was more than happy to pay the appropriate reward money.

V - are those 2 grades in the granny? If so, I'll keep my eye out on GF day for the infamous cap.
Panther - totally agree. Undefeated is an awesome effort, a downside being that there's a fair chance that chinks in the armour haven't been exposed as yet, and they could be on GF day and that could be too late to rectify them.
I think Uris AND the devs have the engine rooms to challenge the Roos but Lofty fall away in the scoring dept. If it's boggy this Saturday, Lofty can beat Uris.
Any truth to C Gowans possibly heading up the hill next year?

Undefeated heading into a GF and losing happened to Hahndorf in 98. One of Richard Hill's biggest regrets i've read in an article before.

C Gowans?? Up the hill to where? Hope your not talking about any of Mt Lofty, Mt Barker, Blakwood or Ironbank. Some of the teams down in the flats and valleys would like some of that class shared around.

Wouldn't surprise me, Flanker. A few of us were drinking with him the night before and he said he was going to the Lofty game. Gets on with the boys well. I was just throwing it out there. I'll get in his face until he does sign ;)

C Gowans - know there has been talkthe last couple of years linking them to Lobethal!! would be handy inclusions in any side. There annoying enough watching them on TV little alone playing against them in a country league.
