Hi everyone,

Once again safooty.net and 107.9 Life FM are teaming up to offer some listener intactivity during the SANFL finals series.

The closest tipster for each final will receive a safooty.net supporters pack which includes a 2010 SANFL Season Guide plus a piece of safooty.net memoribilia.

There is seperate thread for live game day comments so use this one to tip away.

Tipping closes 12 noon Sunday September 12th (SA Time)

so tip away ............................

Edit - Thanks Phil, fantastic effort by LifeFM for supporting us and working in tandem to provide a high quality coverage of the finals. The merchandise for the winner is below, we might even get it signed by Dog_ger ;) .....Dutchy

Eagles by 17 (can't tip against my team!!)
Glenelg by 21 (think finals experience, whilst it hasnt all been good, will help get them over the line)
Trust the process.

Glenelg 38 - too much class for Norwood
Eagles 19 - despite last weekend, have had the wood on Sturt for pretty much the past 20 years and they won't play like they did last week. Hope I'm wrong though.

Haven't really looked to the weather for Sunday yet but most likely closer and low scoring if poor conditions.

Glenelg by 34. They will lead all day and never look threatened.
Sturt by 5. Will get the early break then just hang on in a tense final quarter despite losing the lead for a while.

Sturt by 17. Great form going into finals and few injuries, will overcome a revengeful Eagles.
Glenelg by 31. Bays hungry from last year and I think Norwood are waning toward the end of the season.

I agree entirely G, nothing worse than listening to commentators who only understand a different game, know only a handful of players by name ("and arrghm, that's number 27 passing off to ummm...18! who's lost it to...arrrh, it's that woggy bloke again, who the **** is he?") and just view the SANFL as a cooking pot for future AFL talent.

Sturt by 14 (Too much class but will be closer than many imagine. The Eagles are not a bad side)
Glenelg by 26 (More experience, more potent forward line, solid defence, best ruckman in the competition)
Cheers

Glenelg by 23 - Still smarting from the 09 exit.

Eagles by 15 - On the open spaces at Footy Park I expect their forwards to find more space.

Eagles by 36pts, Plenty of finals experience and the odds are they are going to have a big win after playing a restrained style of game in recent weeks.

Norwood by 14 pts, Glenelg = Rocky, Norwood = Clubber Lang - the Redlegs want it badly and will win it with a workman style effort, Glenelg to be left to do some soul searching and to come back strongly the following week.

I would suggest that in the Elimination Final Sturt will get over the Eagles by a comfortable 33points.

Sturt are in good form having won their last 4 games and I think they will win and can possibly cause some other teams a few issues if Sturt can put an end to the Roller-coaster ride they have had all year.

Qualifying final - I believe Glenelg will win and can win by around 27 points. The main concern is the forecast for late showers -and when it arrives if at all during the game.
Glenelg will definately want to make amends after last years disaster and this game is crucial into getting some confidence back in finals.

The Glenelg Norwood game will go to extra time and only be won by Glenelg by 1 point after a dubious free is paid 10 metres out. The Glenelg player misses but scores the winning point doing his hamstring in the process. he joins many others with season ending injuries from both sides.

In the other game I agree that Chambo will kick 8 - points that is. But they will be 8 important points as this will be the final margin and Chambo will be declared BOG for his efforts.
