I was always under the impression that the best & fairest went to the best & fairest player in the team for the season. It doesn't say "Best & Fairest Minus The Coach".
It would be a bit eccentric if he was voting for himself, as a coach I always insisted that I done one of the voting slips, spectators don't see the importance of tagging roles etc.

Surely it is pretty easy to understand, if he was the best player, even though coach
there is usually 3 cards done, he gets maximum votes on 2 of the 3 (the 3rd card he does), still very capable of him winning!
I believe Paul marshall won the B & F when he was coach at Portland (I could be wrong though!)

I tend to agree, i dont think i could accept a B&F being a coach, also i would expect Greeny to be the best player in that grade anyway, he is capable of playing higher!

Having said that the people who voted went that way and whats done is done so time to move on..

All were run away winners in their grade, i think Josh polled 64 out of a possible max 162 votes. Incredible effort!

The only incredible effort is that you're implying that one M Bedgegood actually ran!!! AMAZING!!!
