They will play 3's. Seem to recall that footy umpire playing in a premiership side for you guys last season. Pretty handy pickups with possability of a couple more joining the ranks soon.

Good start for the cockys. 3 out of 4 with the 2's only losing by a run. Well done norm and james nice solid starts.
Oh and that footy umpire guy played in the 2's and bowled well by all accounts :D

Sandy vs Gawler Central

Gawler Central All Out 155 (King 40 odd, Stock 30 odd)
Roberts 4 fa

Sandy Creek 5 for 255

Fuller 50 odd
Roberts 60 odd
Hogan 39
Kokot 36

Good start to the year, bowling and fielding was really good, solid hit out with the bat but score was over inflated in the last 8-10 overs with a 90 run partnership due to some pretty poor spots being bowled. All in all blew a few cobwebs out for both sides, good on the Centrals boys to invite us up for a beer
Get that corn outta my face!!

unfortunately not james, should be a good hit out for you lads though, we have a new kiwi that can bowl a bit and may cause a few problems. cheers mate, that i will, the top 5 is pretty much sorted, but if i can keep making a few and put some pressure on, you never know what could happen, i do have to play three games back here though if i want to be on the flight to bunbury in jan.
