Brahma has an image?

I hope to god it is not a Pretty image, Heargreaves, Brown, Sibs, Patterson are a bunch of ugly, ugly men. They haven't added much this year with Groover, Gower, Hutima or Richardson. Thank christ they have the three Luke's keeping a handsom face about the place, Nelson, Drewitt and Tulloch.

Please... Worry about your own club's image before you bother about ours mate.
As for sour grapes, if i had sour grapes about getting out to Rogers i would have said alot more then the fact he was struggling to hit the pitch consistently. For someone to bowl out 20+ overs in a day is a fair effort and deserves respect.

I'll be happy to get through one spell of Five over this week!

if your gonna say something on here groover, say something that has some substance or truth behind it. bowling 144 balls and missing the pitch once, to me, that is consistently hitting the pitch, not missing it. This forum isnt for sledging or talkin rubbish. no need for it.

No one mind the odd sledge everynow and then... just as long as your not a hack.

I think you need to go back and check your stats mate. For someone to miss the pitch numerous times was a bit unexpected as I thought the level he had previously played at would compensate for any adjustment to the hard wicket. Stop being so precious.

Can I just say, as I sit here at my desk and peer out the window towards the Parabanks carpark and shopping center, without a cloud visable and the sun beating down, the smell of summer is in the air and I am finally keen for cricket once again. It has taken me 2/3 years to get keen again, but the influence Brahma and the Culture at the club has really moved me. I couldn't be at a better organisation.

Come on fella's, give it a rest, it's just one persons perception against another. Agree to disagree and worry about producing the goods on Saturday. I think there's 3 games up in the air for the taking atm.
Lodge produced a formiddable total but the Billygoats have the batting line-up to chase it down, it's only 22 runs per partnership.
Smithfield need to keep Johnny and Al under wraps and contain Patty from getting away a few dirty runs.
Angle Vale need to get rid of Hanson and start chipping away at the Gardens' middle order, if their tail is anything like last year the batsmen need to score 85% of their runs.

I can vouch he loves the joint as during footy season he probably spent in one night more than what most people spend in a year ;)

I think the Gardens will be very good this year, Bradley Wills will score alot of runs from them if everything is ok personally and he is training. Was once a junior star and has/had plenty of ability with both bat and ball. Hanson from his Para Teachers could bat. The Gardens always seem to find a few blokes with good eyes and that could get the ball through, been a div 1 div 2 club for some time.

Smithfield had a formidable bowling attack last year in the under 16's competition, if all things were equal, those two big openers would see Smithfield play div 1 or div 2 cricket for the next 10-15 years, alot of pressure on 17 year olds shoulders and maybe not div 1 Bowlers yet, but I think they will be in competant hands.

As for Vale and Virginia, who knows what farmers will step off the Tomatoe plantations this year or which mates will be keen for a hit.

Seems to be a pretty strong competition with 5 or 6 sides genuine contenders.
