The most disapointing thing in the TVCA, in my opinion, is that over the last couple of years the quality players in the sides that have folded have not done the best thing by the league and picked the best team to go play for. ie. rathjen and peach... if they had chosen another club the league would be a lot healthier. im pretty sure gumeracha and paracombe would be very competitive with those 2 players.

Interesting to see Mudgy took 5 catches behind the stumps!
Bit disapointing the C's went down, worked hard to get back into it after the opening partnership they gave up but just couldn't collect that last pole!

Kyle Pocock? A class above? Get real! Trader your not living in the real world! The guy is a battler AT BEST! A class above should be used with names like Rohan Reid, Ryan hunter, ben kemp, and back 3 years ago to Greg Hassold but Kyle pocock? No no no no no no.... Not even close!
Maybe he's a class above at tennis? Is that what you mean?

Given he's just a kid, yup, far too talented to be stuck playing in some backwater hardwicket comp. ;)
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Have to agree that the term " A class above " is over the top but everyones entitled to their opinion, which is what this forum is about. ;)

Well done to Echunga who as a club appears to have worked hard in the last few years to ressurect a competitive 'A' grade side where some other clubs have seemed content to stay in the lower grades.

Doing well for Mylor in B grade... not sure how well that would translate to Hills A grade. Seems to me that Mylor have been a lower div bully for the last few years.

Not sure how many from that side would actually be able to make a successful transition into A grade. Statistically appears that side is carried by only about 5 or 6 players.

Dont think Alan Cooper would do much in the A grade he doesnt do enough with it only uses the angle of his height. If i recall though Anthony cooper was pretty quick even if he did spray a fair bit.

Silky i agree in term of tallent Kyle has nothing on the 3 guys you mentioned but they are 3 awesome cricketers. Rohan should have gone further becuase hes a freak, Hunsies is well..... Hunsie and your lucky of he rocks up and Ben plays to much of a mental game and over thinks it.
Onkas will miss BK this year even though they have picked the lights of east torrens all-rounder Tim Woolford and a solid batsman from Adelaide in Nick Gribben. Also from what i here the focal point of their bowling attack in Aaron "Glenno" Galvin is set to return home to play with the Woodside worries next year!

I hope for the woolford blokes sake he can bowl then... because I heard he cannot bat! I think I saw he got a donut in the courier too. Though also saw a new name hit 70 odd for onkas on the weekend?

Disagree atlantis. I think both Coopers would be handy A grade bowlers - not saying they would be at the level of say a Pryor or young stuey hanson or henscke in his prime , but certainly would take wickets in Hills A grade.
Don't forget Alan just took 4 for in A grade on saturday and while A&EH isn't the same standard as Hills, it is an A grade comp. and a step up from Hills B grade.

5 or 6 players? Fair to say that there are only 2 who have done anything this year. Both really good players, have been for years. Thats the only reason the other blokes put up with them, coz they help the team win. They are horrible blokes though, never party, always putting their missus first, luck they can play!
