Would be fairly sad if there are some people getting into the Burgess brothers,
Have been steadfast servants of Ango Cricket club for many years and 2 of the best blokes I have met.
Only an outsider with no clue would have something negative to say on the boys, and for that matter to say
it behind the mask of this largely anonymous forum, and is also an extremely poor judge of character.
I heard a rumour early this week that Kurtzy has chartered a plane home from New York just in time for the Sandy game this week,
sources have told me he spent a week with the Yankees working on his throwing arm strength and has managed to
increase it to the level of a 9 year old girl, which would give him a 3 year buffer on Matthew Doecke's arm.

Stewie, don't think anyone is actually having a go at the Burgess Boys on here as such. Concur with you though, both boys play the game hard but always good to have a beer with afterwards.
Kurtz back for Angaston will be handy for them, good honest cricket that adds to the batting depth and not too bad a fielder either.

I think the bit that was said about 1 or 2 of the Burgess boys was wiped by the moderator.
Kurtzy would be delighted to hear that someone out there rates him slightly, word has it
he cut his overseas journey short just to play Sandy, a nice rivalry could be forming between the sides.

Na mate, there was no criticism of them on here, only what is still on here which seems pretty harmless.

Boundary rider gave the impression that the guy who opens the bowling for Ango (Brett),
was 1 of the ones mentioned on the threads that got removed, and it sounded like it wasn't a complimentary piece.
The Griffin's are very fond of the Burgess boys and don't like to hear bad words spoken about any of them,
we are very close in the hills remember, you have to be, the winters are very cold.
Anyway, Hopefully the Ango boys can get over the line this week, they should have a decent side,
Sandy are very strong, both bat and ball which makes it tough.
Not sure the Sandy lads really fear anyone in the Ango line-up, but they are a capable bunch on their day.

Give you a clue...... Sandy lad opens the batting, ango bloke somehow opens the bowling and the third incumbent is from the tiny town of Kazakistan. Anyway good luck to the Sandy boys in their 20/20 champions game![

Brett Burgess 16 games 36 wickets @ 14.44 @ 3per over BB 7/39 in A1

Thats why he opens the bowling BR84

And just for a chuckle i compared him to a gun from your clubs stats for the 2009/10 season

6 games 5 wickets @ 39 @ 5.6per over BB 3/28 in A1
6 games 5 wickets @ 23 @ 3.74per over BB 2/18 in A3

After seeing those stats i thought maybe this expert of the game was only a part time bowler and was more of a batsman

4 inngs 6 runs @1.5 in A1
7 inngs 72 runs @ 12 in A3

I know who id rather have in my team ;) ;)
Hope i have been able to clear that up for u BR84

You can read all my posts 'Days' have never bagged Burgess brothers at all, frankly I dont even know the two lads. And frankly you know nothing about me Mr. President. And you well and truly know who the banned conversation was related to, and unless Burgess goes by the name of 'Borat' on this forum nothing was ever mentioned of him. My apologies if my last post confused anyone. just trying to clear a few loose ends up after you forced the moderators onto our forum. Cheerio!!!!

Nice, a little trash talk between the Blues and the new kids.
Sounds like compulsory viewing and maybe even a glimmer of hope for some barney rubble.
Can confirm Kurtz will be back, seen him sporting his English suntan and signing autographs at Foodland tonight.

Just opened up the paper and read that my man B.N Fuller is very high on the Champion Player leaderboard.
Have put my house on him to take it out again.
Although, we may need to do something about this Roberts character.

At no stage did "Days" force moderators on to this thread. I deleted what I thought was offending posts as I and 2 other mods peruse these threads.
I think some comments got taken out of context but there was nothing major to report, play on.
