Eng 1/59

Joyce 21*
Bell 1*

MAL must not give up his ONE shot even though he got out with it.
He's made about 100 runs in the series and about 80 with that ONE shot.

Eng 1/137

Joyce 52*
Bell 40*

The start England have been craving for. It must be disappointing for Pietersen who would have been licking his chops at the thought of coming in at 4 after this start. Getting off to a good start has been England's downfall all summer, and has been where they have badly missed Strauss (out of touch), Vaughan (out with injury), Pietersen (out with injury) and Trescothick (well he's just plain stressed out). England's best batting line-up would have to be:

Trescothick (if Joyce keeps up his form in ODI's and Cook continues to go OK in Tests then Strauss & Trescothick may go)
Strauss
Bell
Pietersen
Vaughan (drop down the order in Steve Waugh-type position)
Collingwood
Flintoff

EG 1/153
And to think that SA would beat EG [-X
Meanwhile the canteen managers are relieved, a full game.

EG 2/169
BELL OUT 51
Another frustration to BELL
Why does he get so may starts and fail no nail a big score?
275 a possibility
JOYCE is batting the way STRAUSS used to bat before the umpires ruined him.

EG 7/292
JOYCE 107[142] Ian BELL should convert like this but dosent
The PIETERSEN fear club can re'joyce' a pom finally beat his score of 82.
PLUNKETT 10*[7] a tailender who can bat, bowls and bats well
BOPARA 7*[5] on debut.

It took a whole tour to unleash Mighty Tigers favourite batsman Mr.BOPARA
a young fast running excitement machine who made 7 not out off 5 nuts.
TAIT a luckless 2/68, so many balls went 1st bounce to the fielders today.

The turning point of this game was when GilCHRIST rook off Cammy WHITE
who was bowling well at 1/26 off 5 overs

I wonder how Richard EARLE feels after tipping that SA would beat EG

292 ????????????????????????
No PONTING
CLARK/BRACKEN/TAIT/MCGRATH batting 8-9-10-11 ????
CLARK + BRACKS can score some on thier days.

Tell ya what all it needs is one or two poor umpiring decisions against AU
for a change and this could be the biggest boilover since a canniball bbq.

TAB ODDS
AU $1-50
EG $2-50

BOONEY did you snare the $7 ?????????????????????????????????????????

MAHMOOD is the key  a good spell fom him could see EG win this.

Australia 2/5. Gilchrist out first ball and Hodge throws away a second opportunity to impress. If you want to play international cricket you have to take your chance when it comes and i'm afraid Hodge is running out of opportunities.

That was a terrible drop by Nixon, he should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on cricket.

Aussies are fighting back hard, Hayden has his 50 and Symonds hitting them well.

4/116 off 20.4

Hayden just got out

SA V EG o/d fictitous game and whp would win.
Earle is a very very good reporter BUT he said
only Flintoff, Strauss and possibly Bell would make the SA team.[no PANESAR...hmn]
Big statement, he also said SA would win in a romp. :!: :!: :!:

MALS COMBINED X1
-----------------------

ELLIOTT
JOYCE
BELL
LEHMANN
COSGROVE
FLINTOFF
COLLINGWOOD
NIXON
GILLESPIE
TAIT
PANESAR
12th man MARK HUGH JACKMAN CLEARY

I have 6 poms in the team
Had PLONKERSEN,STRESSCOTHIK,VAUGHAN + ANDERSON been fit there
would have been more Poms in my team.

TODAYS GAME AU V EG
---------------------------
Ponting playing, Hodge in ?
Lets hope AU bats first for the food vendors, bar takings .......
My tip I will again stick my head out and select AU to win
Lets hope TAIT tears them apart.
Will LOYE get caught in the keeper slips region for the 5th time in 5 games ?
Can STRAUSS make a 50 vrs AU this season ?
Will AU try and get to 400 runs if batting first.[absurd]
Will AH call 50 over games a joke AGAIN.

first of all it was a good thing thE POMS batted first for the food vendors...........the way the aussies are going tonight........

you stuck your head out and tipped a $1.12 pop that will LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! serves you right

TAIT didnt quite tear them apart............better for the run
