Fair enough, he's impressed me when I've seen him bowl early. Doherty would probably be the better choice, see how they go in the Ryobi cup.

I just checked up on Heal's stats for this season and have come to the conclusion that I deserve the following:

Damn Redbacks, his only decent return this season was against us. Replacing him iwth Doherty.

How the hell is Clint McKay still getting a game in the Aussie side?!?
Very overrated IMO.

My team would be

Watson
Paine
Ponting
Clarke
M Hussey
Ferguson
White
Johnson
Hilfenhaus
Doherty
Tait

Haddin, Birt, Hopes, Bollinger, Hauritz, Marsh, Warner, Smith to fight it out for remaining spots in the squad.

Blokes I would NOT have in there:
McKay, D Hussey, Nannes, Lee. All are past it over overrated.

 It was both a very bold and interesting call to begin with LM.

1. Watson
2. Haddin
3. Ponting
4. White
5. Clarke
6. Hussey
7. Ferguson
8. Johnson
9. Doherty
10. McKay
11. Bollinger

12-15: Starc, Smith, Paine, Marsh

Starc to replace Johnson when he spuds it up.
Paine to replace Haddin for a meaningless game or two.
Marsh back-up opener, although Paine is too, so maybe add another bowler (Lee, Tait)
Smith back-up middle order batsman.

Good to see Mckay finally show something, he's been ordinary at international level up until now.

Steve Smith will drop back to number 7 when Ponting comes back (i.e. the WC), then you'll have four (specialist) bowlers:

Bollinger and Johnson are locked in provided they are both fit, they'll play a spinner, so Hauritz will get the gig...

So between Hilf, Siddle, Ryan Harris, and now McKay, who is going to miss out?

Not even close to being on the ODI scene. Rubbish white ball bowler.

Agreed, he bowls way to short in the ODI arana and therfore never has the impact he could have.
