Love 130R turn. Better than Eau Rougue (at least the straightened out Eau Rouge) and up there with Copse as my favourite corner.

Couldnt agree CC... Monaco and Monza have to be up there aswelll!

Yep, lot's of memories from Suzuka (good and bad). As well as being a wonderful circuit, something always seems to happen there. The Japanese love their F1. They will be happy to have a Senna back on their turf in F1 (if he retains his seat in the interim).

I also think Instanbul Turn 8 is pretty special...the new circuit in Austin for the new 2012 US GP looks like winner too. It has bits of Silverstone/Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Hockenheim, Interlagos and Spa all wrapped into one:

FWIW here's my favourite circuits (historically):

Not a bad list! I used to like Paul Richard, but Silverstone shouldtnt be in there IMO.

Where was Adelaide 8)

San Marino was a great track prior to chicanes being put in. Long straights, flowing corners, tight corners, elevation change...

Agreed, I always liked Imola as a circuit too. But I, like many others I guess, have sad memories of that place :(

I liked the German one before they changed it. The long straightthrough the woods with a couple chicanes thrown in.

Too late Webber spins and is out. If race finishes how it is webber will be 3 rd in title. Cant afford not to finish this late in season. Title could be gone

What a finish to the season coming up. Realistically only 4 left in race seperated by 25 pts with 2 races to go. Alonso in box seat but cant see red bull dnf two races in row. If they stay in race they will win so i think title will end up webber, alonso, hamilton and vettel.

Interesting to see Mark's recent comments about the team....he has full support from the technical department but feels a tad unloved elsewhere (read: Marko). You would think that RBR would put their support fully behind MW to win the WDC, as Seb's chances are slim, but they have stated categorically that they won't. I hope Mark can put this 5hit out of his mind and race and fight hard this weekend, to the end.

Vettel is 0.1 sec quicker than Mark at the end of P2....as for all of the season there is nothing between them, with usually either Mark or Seb on top of the other by 5-10 hundredths.

Something to note: there were a few small handling/chassis issues with the RedBull car earlier this season which Mark learned to drive around...hence he was quicker than Vettel at that time and won races clinically. Vettel has even admitted as much. Since then they have changed a few things on both cars, and to the advantage of Vettel's driving style...yet it now appears that the competitors are much closer...hmmm

Jenson Button has escaped unharmed after a gang of attackers armed with machine guns tried to hold up his car in Sao Paulo ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Button - last year's Formula 1 drivers' champion - was being driven away from the Interlagos track after qualification Saturday when the incident happened.
"We were going back from the track and were outside a shanty town and moving very slowly on the busy road," Button told a British newspaper.
"The next thing I saw was a man with a gun. Our guy angled the car and floored it...
"That's when we saw all six of them brandishing machine guns. My driver was a legend. It was very scary. I don't know whether they knew who it was they were ambushing."
Button was being driven by a police driver in an armoured Mercedes at the time of the incident.

Not a great result for webber this morning. Vettel winning, webber second and alonso 3rd. Red bull wins consrtructors title and we head to last race with 4 title contenders although hamilton needs miracle. Red bull have difficult decision. Vettel is clearly fastest at moment, if he wins alonso will win title with 4th place. If webber wins alonso needs 2nd to win title. Best outcome is webber/vettel/alonso. Webber would win by 2 pts. Interesting to see if any team orders apply.

What a joke Red Bull is....

As if they wouldnt have "arranged" for Webber to win as he would then only be 1pt behind alonso for championship.
