Bling - Overated, we are now officialy the most consistnet team in the A-leauge.
So glad people like David Carney will now shut up about how they are still th best team in the country, and we were champions last season and will be again.
Newcastle unlucky not to receive 3 penaltys also, 1 clear handball, and 2 that 9/10 times would be given.
great crowd to, around 24, 350, stadium only holds 25,000 i think.
some nice brawls to, in which Alex Brosque got red-carded, havent seen one like that in any code for a few years.

There should have been more control by the officials in that 'push and shove' just before halftime and certainly a couple of players lucky not receive a red card or two not to mention how many yellows should have been handed out as a result???. The refereeing was disgrace and that last penalty claim was an absolute disgrace. What were the linesman and fourth official doing just before halftime as Matthew Breeze the ref had his back to the brawl most of the way through it???

NZ Knights might give that title a shake too!

The penalties missed last night were a disgrace (2 of them). Well done Newcastle, I hope the gold goes all the way!

good point. (NZ was inconsistent towards the end of the season though)
for the handball i dont know where the linesman could have been looking, 2 players going for the ball on the line, he should not have missed anything.
poor officiating almost seemed like it had somthing to do with the FFA's love for Sydney FC.
