He use to open the bowling for ETs B grade although they are horrible at best, not shore about the globe though, he made 13 the first week going for the slap as onkas were in a good position to. Then i think 6 or 7 last week. Has a good batting technique but i guess time will tell

East Torrens B Grade? mycricket.com says he was playing D-Grade for Onkas last year and not setting the world on fire. Would be suprised if East Torrens B's are equal to Hills D Grade :)

Hear Williamson has pulled his groyne on the weekend.
Not the first time this has happened. Doctors have been telling him for years to stop - but he cannot help himself

Thats a fair effort. That groyne down at the bay is pretty big.

Or did you mean groin?

Sounds like a deliberate move to just field a team in the C's, cause if you forfeit a team it has to be your lowest and they obviously didnt want to forfeit the D's.

Dont think an overweight 40yo with no knees is going to help TWE...

Long day in the field for the redcaps B grade, and yes Dutchy would definitely be handy next week! :)

What is Lewis doing in B grade anyway? Far too good for that level IMO.

Yeah I was TWE.

Craggs certainly wasnt dropped on form. He took a swag of wickets against lofty. He did crack the shits at his captain for bowling him up the hill though :)

Perhaps he was just dropped for having the worst stare in hills cricket. :D

After completion of Round 4 in TVCA the Lobey teams should be 1 and 2 on the ladder.

Was that the DISGRACEFUL score of 7/13 or something? All out for 13...anyone heard much worse in their time in the hills, just as a side topic?
I've come in at 5/17 but we recovered, sort of. I don't think I've had worse.
Anyone?

I've been part of a team that managed 13. The bulk of the team were about 15yo, filling in for the B Grade back in late 90s. A bloke from Mt Torrens got a hattrick which I watched from the other end.

Forced to follow on I recall we were 0/50 at one stage in the second dig. Finished up 150+.

I think we had a 15 or so around that era too which I luckily enough missed out on.

Palmer got rolled by Lobey for 14 a few years back in the A Grade. I could be wrong, but I reckon they beat Lobey the next time around.

I think Paracombe will surprise a few this season too. If the Pirates knock over a wobbly Woodside this week, they'll move to 3rd.

Too much depends on Simon Barnes for my liking. Based on the past few seasons he is by far their best batsman, plus their opening bowler. Hopefully they can skittle Woodside this week.

jq you storking me :D Yes that was the disgracefull score of all out for 13 But there d grade filled a full side   absolute rubbish from shanty considering they have a guy like manos having a hit in the ds surley they could have split a few from the ds and at least played 9 in 1 side and then 10 in the other ? It was that embarising that even some of scibs players fielded for shanty as well after the game was over in the 3rd over !!
