So tell us who the Bays are after - seems most "big names" have already been grabbed. I bet your answer is anybody!

What, like Ebel, oh hang on, no he went to Port.
What, like Davis, oh hang on, no he went to Port.
What, like Hargraves, oh hang on, no he went to Port.
What, like Oakley, oh hang on, no he went to the Eagles.
What, like Grocke, oh hang on, no he went to the Eagles.
What, like Squire, oh hang on, no he went to Sturt.
What, like Atkinson, oh hang on, ho he went to Sturt.
What, like Gum, oh hang on, no he went elsewhere.

Oh, hang on, you got Herbert! No wonder the Bays are where they are!

PS In all honesty, thanks for rejecting Gill after having first dibs on him. Pity the coach didn't even want to go out of his way to chat to him!

all of those above clubs walk a very fine line when it comes to the SALARY CAP, whereas we are always under it. besides we offered a few of those players the money they deserve, not the money that they got paid because they think they deserve it.

GILL is a handy player and did have a good year for north but im quite content in the fact that we dont have him.

So you're after the players that North reject like Herbert but you're not interested in players like Gill?
Geez, with that sort of philosophy I find it really hard to work out why the Bays haven't played finals football this century.
You're not the Glenelg recruitment officer by any chance?

Whoops, sorry, you caught me mid edit.
Yeah good point about the forward line structure, worked a treat in the finals. WTF?
Sturt walking a fine line with the salary cap, cripes, you have about as much idea about recruiting as you do player payments.

Dunno about that considering your back line let through less points than North or Port (and only 2 more points than South) and was miles in front of any other team in the bottom 4. You do realise Gill can play down back to don't you?

well lets see NORTH play a one dimensional game plan and PORT well they had a bad year despite making the finals and SOUTH over achieved.

our defense can be and should be stronger.

I understand that GILL can play anywhere and everywhere and is a player who will dominate at AFL level, but im still content he isnt at brighton rd.

So you're content that your club let Gill go through sheer incompetence as opposed to actually choosing to not have him?
Good attitude at your club, once again, hard to see why they're the only team in the league not to play finals this century with that sort of thought pattern. :?

well they may have made up there mind in not wanting him and it looks like sheer incompetence in the way it was handled, still i dont mind that he isnt playing for us.

no point making finals if you arent going to do anything. so when we make the finals we will go all the way!!!!!!!!!

lol, rest assured you'll only be getting beaten by One Dimensional North twice this year as opposed to the 3 times last year.
Does that make the Bays .33 dimensional?
