I think you will find that owning the oval is on the agenda - more long term at this point but certainly an option being looked at.

I reckon that's to do with the cheap longnecks at half time.
And fair enough too!
Great bar at Westies too, I've put through many a coin there, great bar, great BBQ and a great surface at Richmond.

PS Where do these figures come from anyway?

You're usually on the mark Blacky, but fingers crossed you're wrong!
Still 50 cents dearer is still good value, I wish North played 2 games at Richmond every year.

I am astounded to see so many people putting the Mighty Tigers in the bottom half of the comp. for 06. Each year we improve by one spot and seeing as though we were at one stage eyeing a spot in the 5 last year, youd think a bit more credit would be given to the black and gold. Mickan, Rowe and Caven. Thats enough for me. Tigers somewhere in the top 5. (I hope I am not chewing my own arse off in 8 months time.)

Eagles (due this year)
Centrals (player losses will hurt but not that much. Two excellent players in Elijah Ware and Paul Thomas are back. Yes, I know Ware never left but missing almost the complete season through injury counts)
North (should continue solid performances but will never win a premiership under A. Jarman)
South (recruits will finally click - maybe)
Norwood (showed a lot more competitiveness last year)

Glenelg (comment as per Norwood)
Sturt (losing a bit of competitiveness but could still challenge for a spot in the five)
Port (already there are rumbles at Ethelton between the Ginever supporters and the Greg Phillips corner)
West (could win a premiership with their players in the AFL but sadly this has depleted their SANFL stocks)
A Bulldog in winter; a WTDCC Eagle and OICC Wolf in Summer!

Well most of you seem to have the Blue Boys out of the five in 06. I can understand why, its a fair call. Or is it? Howweyman, Graham and O'Keefe strait into the team. IMO Toby won't get much of a run at poower in 06 (not after his 'performance' at Gelong in 05) so we can hope for some service out of him, I'm assuming he would want to work hard to a) get back in with choco or b) get drafted (long shot, no takers). Add these four, sprinkle in a couple of kids and I think you've got the mix for a 3rd/4th/5th place finish.

What about the outs. Cooper will (I hope) go well at the eagles, he needed the change for obvious reasons. To be honest I'm not sure where his footy was at last year. I hope he can make it work at woodville but on last years showing is not actually a great loss to sturt (Brilliant in 02 and a few late home and away round + 'that' final in 04).

Oli = nice guy. Liked him a lot but not a match winner/turner.

M Smith = Well wish he was still with us, 05 was wrecked by injury and not a true reflection of his worth ( the crows obviously thought he was worth a put as they listed him over Parker from the bays).

So here goes

1. Port
2 Centrals
3 Sturt
4 Eagles
5 Norf

6 Norwood
7 Bays
8 South
9 West
