Ha ha! TWE, you got me!
Yeah it baffles me about that D grade thing, unless some C graders literally didn't rock up on the day. I think the week before they made a fairly big score against our lot, so bugger knows what happened there.

It's not the 9 runs that's scary for me
BUT
it's the fact they lost all 10 wkts in just 26 balls thats more baffling.

We bowled out Basket Range in round 1 in 14 overs and were PUMPED with that! But 26 balls...there'd be some fielders that literally wouldn't have touched the ball!
Re tomorrow's games - fingers crossed the rain stays away 'cos we have a good test v Eastern Ranges, evenly poised. Anyone else care to comment on where they're at? Haven't had much specific talk on here so far.

Our B grade will want rain and our A grade dont! Would be the 3rd straight game where rain has caused a draw after being in good positions for the A grade, cant afford a draw against Stirling!

I think Paracombe will surprise a few this season too. If the Pirates knock over a wobbly Woodside this week, they'll move to 3rd.

Too much depends on Simon Barnes for my liking. Based on the past few seasons he is by far their best batsman, plus their opening bowler. Hopefully they can skittle Woodside this week.

Think Woodside might improve. I here from a mate of mine a sturt that Bruce Kain has left and is heading back to the Worriers!!
Plus if Galvin heads back next year they might even have half an A grade side

Another stellar performance on Sunday by Stirling. with meadows having to have this weekends saturday game shifted due to some inter club 20 20 carnival that they had been picked for, the meadows lads were keen for a hit on Sunday after only 4 overs were completed agaainst Aldgate on Saturday..

FORFEIT!!!!!

Absolute disgrace to say that they couldn't find 11 cricketers to front up on Sunday is terrible.

Mylor up, Stirling down next year me thinks....

On a side note, looking forward to playing two different one day games on Saturday and Sunday this week....

To add to this Stirling A grade would not take to the field on Saturday because of a small amount of light weather.! There was a small amount of drizzle around for periods, but also fine periods.....the Mt Lofty lads were waiting out in the centre for an hour....Stirling would not take to the field!! To add to this disgrace...as the Lofty lads pulled the matting up there was cheering heard from the Stirling players as if they have won the game!!!!

Absolutely Disgraceful!! Why bother training 2 nights a week if you dont want to play on the weekends??

Two torrens valley clubs have gone behind the backs of the other clubs and had a secret meeting to discuss their futures which will be to leave the competition and join another association. This will cause some major damage to the alreay struggling TV association why dont some of these people behind thisthe join the executive committee of the association and build it back up rather than just jump off a sinking ship.
