NZ 193
RYDER 59
MCCULLUM 40 batting at 8 lads, this innings is void !!!

IN 1/180
SHEWAG 74[73] geeeeeez
GAMBHIR 77* [125] on his way to a double ton , unless VETTORI gets him [JUST GOT OUT  ]
DREARYVID 21*[52] zzzzzzzzzz

NZ continue to play a 4 prong bowling attack, they just have not learnt that 5 is required in this part of the planet
Started watching at 1/160 odd
WILLIAMSON was the 5th bowler used, he looks like a baby faced Nathan Hauritz

Congratulations to WILLIAMSON in only his 3rd test, when he gave DRAVID a gift which even he slammed for 4, then WILLIAMSON got his Test Bowling average to 100 with the ball

Meanwhile coach KIRSTEN and skipper DHONIS biggest concern TOMorrow or the day after is when to declare
That will be a total of between 500-600, unless Dannyboy gets a big cheapish haul

NZ 1-24 at stumps on day 3
McCullum still not out
maybe a good chance for some NZ batsmen to take their time and consolidate and try for a big score
maybe take the pressure off as they sure arent going to win or draw

New Zealand have recalled Central Districts batsman Jamie How for the five one-day internationals in India starting November 28. Gareth Hopkins, the Test wicketkeeper, retains his place in the 15-man ODI list as a back-up to Brendon McCullum, taking the place of Northern Districts' BJ Watling. This will be New Zealand's first one-day series since the 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Bangladesh last month.

Two players who missed that Bangladesh tour, allrounder Scott Styris who was injured and top-order batsman Martin Guptill who was left out for that series, also return to the side. Fast bowler Hamish Bennett, who picked up an injury in the first Test against India earlier this month, and Canterbury batsman Shanan Stewart, who flopped in Bangladesh averaging 6.50, miss out.

Squad: Daniel Vettori (capt), Grant Elliott, Martin Guptill, Gareth Hopkins, Jamie How, Brendon McCullum (wk), Nathan McCullum, Andy McKay, Kyle Mills, Jesse Ryder, Tim Southee, Scott Styris, Ross Taylor, Daryl Tuffey, Kane Williamson

Daniel Vettori, though, is not satisfied and said that the team will be judged on how it performs in the decider in Nagpur.

"This one is the most important for us. I think the way our team will be viewed will be more on this Test rather than the previous two. We can't be satisfied. The moment you are satisfied in world cricket, it is the start of your downfall. We can never put ourselves in that position because we aren't good enough yet and we are looking to improve all the time. We are happy with what we have done but we are definitely not satisfied. Our expectations are high even though we are the eighth-ranked team in the world."

Not to be judged any better than losing to the Bangas then

I know they all have weird issues with using first, second, third, or thirteen christian names, but is this the same (very promising) player that we would know as Manoj Tiwary?

NO..
SS Tiwary the 20yo left handed batsman that played so well for the Mumbai Indians..has played one ODI (only international)

Manoj is a right hander, played for Kolkata in the IPL and is 25, has also played just one ODI (v Aus in 08)

Jesse Ryder, the New Zealand batsman, will miss the ODI series in India after injuring his calf during the three-Test series. Ryder picked up a calf strain in the second Test in Hyderabad and aggravated it further during the final game in Nagpur, where he had to bat with a runner.
