Cmon Punter. A little concerned by this spell by Anderson and Ponting walking across his stumps early on in his innings.

AUS 1/96 at Lunch

Katich 46no
Ponting 10no

Very good start from the Aussies, the pitch seems to be getting better as the day goes on with the sun out.

Another Ponting failure.. question must be asked, how close to hanging up the boots? Last series?

Can't yet, we'd may aswell play against Bangladesh 10 times a year, here's why:

Katich: 36 atm I think, will be finished within 2 years you'd think.
Watto: No real probs there.
Punter:
Clarke: Struggling with the bat atm, in particular the sub-continent.
Hussey: Old and struggling with the bat.
North: Struggling with the bat.

We are running out of options with the bat, we needed to blood some younger batsmen a couple of years ago before we have a mass exodus again, we still haven't gotten over the last one.
There's no substitute for experience.

3/100

Katich c & b Finn 50

really good catch,

Massive innings for the Huss, failure and career could be over, big innings and he could set his own retirement date.

Clarke very lucky to survive, evidence wasnt conclusive

Why dont they use snicko as long as hot spot to get the exact decision between the two.

This is what the dude doing the cricinfo updates just said:

A couple of emails about why Snicko can't be used on reviews. My understanding - and I'm happy to be corrected - is that there is too much possibility of human error, as the sound and vision come from separate sources and are matched by a human being, not by a machine, which can create doubt about when a noise occurred.
