Cannot believe it. That's the type of win they need to use to build a new era on.

To come from the depths of all out for 55 to win is an unreal effort. Shows the type of guts that's been missing for over a decade.

Tassie must be feeling pretty low right now... ;)

Good to see Peter George end up with 5 for and Cassell another 4 for.

Must be said, that was one amazing game of cricket

How about showing that sort of G&D in the 1st place to not put themselves in that sort of position...

Follow on ?
Why not

It's not like their bowlers did much work...

Ive always said , making sides follow on is frought with danger
To prove my point NostraMALdamus predicts SA will make more runs in the 2nd innings

HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
TA made SA follow on and lost
I spose it was the right decision, but it opened the door for SA

One of the all time greatest fightbacks after the 55 first dig
Earnt respect

TA all out 177
GEORGE 5/28 [15]
CASSELL 4/58 [15] doing allright now for a guy that had about half a decade off with injuries ?

What Peter George should do is play for TA next season and bowl on this deck for half a season

I think most would feel that same way mate, but it's nice to just get an opportunity to enjoy it, even if it is only temporary

Domestic Cricket is in a poor state. Poor players being rewarded continually. More ave players across the board now than ever before...

What a stupid comment. They showed real guts in that first dig didn't they.

The jellybacks at their best. Spineless performance and if a fluke win makes you think they are wonderful then you are in for pain. Thay are shite

To recover from that far down is a brilliant effort. Yes, they shouldn't have been in that position in the first place, but the batsmen more than made up for it in the second dig and the bowlers finished the job superbly.

I never said that they were 'wonderful' because of this victory, all I suggested was that if the players choose they can use this game as a turning point for their season.

So many people just love to hate on them. Give them some credit FFS.

I'd rather see some consistency in their performances rather than the odd miracle victory once a year.
Reguardless of the win, 55 is simply PATHETIC.

Credit where credit is due. And the redbacks deserve sweet FA

One fluke win and your all back on the bandwagon, like you were when they won the first 4 20/20 games last season. What a joke that was.

Mark Cosgrove - is that you??

No one is firing up the bandwagon here mate. Re-read the thread - we all know it's about consistency and that this could well be just another blip on the Redbacks rollercoaster ride.

Bit bored there mate, a win is a win, they had bugger all to play with and they got the opposition out in time for the win. I didn't see any bandwagons going by to jump on, just a few happy posters that their team turned a poor performance around. :D
