The Aussies really need to do something about innings starts/resumptions. They lost a few wickets in Brisbane after breaks if I recall correctly.

Soooo. What's the bid on how many balls before North gets a quacker?

I'm going with 18.

One thing I don't understand is the way North and a lot of other international players, play spin in regards to padding up to balls with thier bat tucked slightly behind the pad. I have seen North do this countless times and the balls seems to find the edge a lot, why doesn't he get the bat up and out of the way. The umpire surely knows that he is not intending to play a shot. I can't see the point of this approach. I'm tipping North to be caught at slip again off Swann, hopefully he has a ton on the board before this happens :D

The sad thing is that he's proabably trying to hit the ball.

North's Test Batting Stats

34 Innings
24 times dismissed for 21 or less, and 19 of those he failed to pass 10.

If the selectors are looking for consistent, reliable performers, which surely they should be, WTF is he doing in the team?????????????????

**** i hope he is there at stumps today though!

Q. Why are the england cricket team wearing red and blue ribbons?

A. Red and blue ribbons worn by England players and officials to draw attention to the issues facing children and young people affected by HIV
