One thing I don't understand is the way North and a lot of other international players, play spin in regards to padding up to balls with thier bat tucked slightly behind the pad. I have seen North do this countless times and the balls seems to find the edge a lot, why doesn't he get the bat up and out of the way. The umpire surely knows that he is not intending to play a shot. I can't see the point of this approach. I'm tipping North to be caught at slip again off Swann, hopefully he has a ton on the board before this happens
