I don't know what to think, less than 250 on the traditional Adelaide Oval road. I think we are in big trouble, lets hope Rhino, Dougie and Sidds go through them tomorrow. I cannot see them making less than 400.

I think there is more in this wicket with the new ball. However do we have the attack to make use of it. Siddle and Harris need to put it all on the line tomorrow morning

There is plenty on this deck, as I suspected prematch with the lack of heat in Adelaide wince winter the centre square hasnt been "baked" as usual and is offering some nice juice to the bowlers. We will run through them tomorrow.

Would love to know what Michael Clarke record is when going into bat with the score less than 50.

Without any stats in front of me he would have to be one of the worlds biggest ever front runner, flat track bully.

Clarkey is great when fit. I dont think he is 100% his dismisal today was very tentative. Needs a rest

No excuses when you declare yourself fit.
Either he's fit and a front runner or unfit and putting himself before the team.

Agree on the fit part. I posted last test that he was selfish and putting himself ahead of the team. Surely the selectors arent that blind either.

england took their chances yesterday, so far the aussies have let two golden ones slip through their fingers. Not looking good but at least the chances are there.

Dodoherty. God saves us all.

Don't you just love dropped catches like Hussey's? The players are out there 2 hours before the game running around, doing all sorts of fielding drills .. then they drop a catch like that. Makes you wonder. Doug Walters never dropped catches like that, and his pre-match warm up was a ciggy and a walk to the bathroom.

Was discussing the way to fix the Aussie cricket team the other night with some mates over 15 beers (always the right time to solve the worlds problems  )

Anyway, Ive always felt that when the Aussies started to turn it around in the late 80's under AB and Bob Simpson, the improvement in our fielding played a big part, as it did with our dominance in the 90's. IMHO it's been gradually sliding for around 10 years, and has reached a real low again now.

BOLLINGER has more wickets this series than MJ

CP makes a very good point about fielding

It's not just fielding that's slipped back to the 80s

Good patch at moment. Siddle regularly beating the bat and watto swinging it a mile his pace just looks a little down.

Watching Doherty bowling to Cook and Trott reminds me of an 11 year old kid throwing cream puffs at the town hall.
