it was only a week ago you blokes all hated hussey a week later you's love him again  form will come and go and you can only play as good as your opp. lets you. i agree on the north one i dont think he is up to it but as an english supporter i was nervous whilst clarke was in as i rate him highly as a batsmen and believe the australian selectors would be crazy to drop him.

Great post. England are playing some excellent cricket at the moment. Their side is an experienced one that appears to be very well coached. The newcomers have slotted into the side nicely and you can see an extended period of Ashes dominance for England coming up. I thought as much at the start of the series and my call then was to develop the next generation of cricketers rather than the generation of cricketers who got a late start because they weren't good enough to unseat the champions of 2006/7.

Can't agree with you more. England has been great, there batting lineup is well settled and patient with the added aspect of flair in the right places.

There bowlers while look like spuds will hold there own. James Anderson has been very good on tour so far and Swann is starting to find his rythem.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

My team for Perth:
1. Watson
2. Hughes
3. Ponting
4. Hussey
5. Clarke
6. Ferguson: think long term
7. Haddin
8. Harris
9. Hauritz: common sense, he took 7 for at the WACA a week ago
10. Siddle
11. Hilf: Dougie=too expensive

I'd almost consider playing a 4th quick cos i can't see us taking 20 wickets. Thus replace Ferg with MJ

Scary thing for me is that I think England will be far better off with Broad out and Tremlett in the team at the WACA

I don't think so. Tremlett is a good replacement but Broad clearly the better cricketer.

Look. I havent thought of a reason yet ok!

I dont think MJ is ready to come back, let him play a couple for WA.
Dont think Ferguson will come into the side.
Id take Bollinger over Hilf, even if he concedes more at least he looks threatening, rather wicket taker than economic bowler.

Actually on a second look at it its not too bad!

i believe tremlett on the WACA will get excellant bounce BUT many a fast bolwer has been carried away with the bounce, should he bowl in the good areas i believe he can be a huge asset for england.

whilst on the subject of 'bowling in areas' i couldnt help but notice the aussie quicks could not hit the length of the 100 year old say 'the top of off stump' anderson does time after time hence his 7 or 8 wickets for the match.

glen mcarth did it for 10 years and his figures are'nt to shabby! ;)

No way. Love Botham's style. He's well down on the list of pompus and twats when it comes to Poms.
