I remember facing Smoo back in the days when Kapunda had an A1's team. Haha.
He was probably their most difficult bowler to face, which begs the question why he is shooting
the poor fish that dwell in the barrel in A3's.
Only guy that could hold his head up was Extras who compiled a classy 8 of the 16 runs.

He has come to play with his mates. He is unable to train or play everyweek which limits his chances of being selected in a higher grade. The a3's have a good mix and he is loving just having a bit of fun.

Dont worry norm, hope its just a small blip on the radar. Still a great day for the club with the 1,2 and 3's all top two and the 4's finding some good form and being just out of 4. I think alot of other clubs would love that record. Im sure the lads will work hard on the track this week and rectify saturdays performance.
Go you cocks!!!!

Ango were chasing 201 against Greenock and the boys were pretty confident that they could get the runs. Oval was slow (at that is being kind) but wasn't any better the week before. Boys extremely dissapointed that we didn't get there in the end but with all the top order getting starts and only 1 player going on to reach 60 odd it was always going to be tough. Couple of run outs to batsmen that looked settled didn't help the situation but to give greenock due credit they were persistant with good lines and lengths all day knowing that they lacked any potency in their bowling line up, which also made it hard for the batsmen to use any pace from the ball to hit across the slow outfield. Ben Burgess again top scored for the panthers and rumour has it that he nearly ended up in Hospital on Saturday night due to heat stroke, apparently very sick boy. Nuri this week at home and a must win game against the undefeated tigers

Sure is, the cocks were not so quiet saturday, well not until Kingy guided the tigers home. Is there anything this guy can't do, would be in the top 10 in both footy and cricket!
It was a very satisfying victory and hopefully it gets our season rolling

Its a myth.
WEARECOMING is a supporter of poo-dribbling and not much else.
Is there any truth to the rumour that Burgess was dropped 2,166 times on Saturday?
Including by the keeper? and a dead pan sitter too?
Last time I got dropped was by my year 6 girlfriend.....sad times.

I hear Golden Gav found a way to go home even earlier on the weekend.....
Word has it his belly-flop was as heartwrenching as it was amusing.
On a brighter note it is unlikely to effect bar takings at the club after 6pm in future weeks.

I think I have you beat, in his younger days, old Gav turned up to an U16 game all set to go in his whites, saw a young Dima Stienert limbering up and decided it was too much and took off home. Was back 15 minutes later in civvies claiming he couldn't play.
