Which one from the west end?

I think I'd prefer Beer into the breezer

Lion Nathan gets more drift when there's a draught.

I'd suggest Lion Nathan would want to use a pick-axe on Hilditch too.

I think we both know that they both bowl dead straight.

Good enough pies to land a hattie in the 1st test.

I guess when he's 30 and averaging 35 you'll still be using this line to justify his selection?

NFC is right.
Siddle only seems to bowl well when he's fired up, which isn't often enough.
Bollinger shouldn't have been dropped imo.

Siddle is a proven wicket taker - MCG test against Seth Africa, and the 1st ASHES test prove that. His problem is consistency. So the challenge for Cooley and Nielsen is to make him realise how much better he is when he pitches it up. End of day 2 in Adelaide Nielsen should have got the video guy to make up a spilt screen video of Siddle bowling in the first dig at Brisbane and 1st Dig in Adelaide. After Siddle watched the video Nielsen should have got Siddle's Kookaburra and belted him over the head and said

"SEE HOW MUCH F***ING BETTER YOU ARE WHEN YOU PITCH IT UP, AND YOU WONDER WHY FAST BOWLERS ARE CONSIDERED DUMB!!" "KEEP PITCHING SHORT AND YOU'LL GO BACK TO BEING A TIMBER CUTTER, PITCH IT UP YOU CAN MAKE SHITLOADS OF $$$$ BOWLING FOR AUSTRALIA" "YOUR CHOICE NUMB NUT...."

Siddle wold be in my team every time, for his attitude, the way he charges in. He just needs to ridden hard and told to use the short ball sparingly and pitch it up.

A Hawk summed it up on here earlier this week with respect to Siddle
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

BODYLINE ON THE MENU
Cant believe the headlines today
Ponting plans to ruff up EG becoz Morkel and SSSSSSSSSSSteyn cleaned em up in SA earlier this year bowling short atem

Ive got news for Ponting
Look at how our batsman will respond if facing short pitched bowling

HUGHES in the past Ive nicknamed him Scardy cat for a reason
WATSON ok
PONTING the best hooker and puller Ive seen for AU pre 34 years old, but now one of the worst
CLARKE only pulls if its 2 feet outside off, paddle pulls of his body= does not like it short ?
HUSSEY very very iffy against the short ball, unless on flat decks
HADDIN ok
SMITH ok

So we have 4 batsman in the top 5 batting spots who are vulnerable to bumper bowling

PS
SSSSSSteyn and Morkel are damn good bowlers, better than our bowlers currently
Cant expect our attack to replicate what happened last January In Johanessburg
