ramblers 136 belair 115 ish. ferris top scored for ramblers with 43 in very quick time. his dismissal very dubious. wickets shared around with justin "paddington bear" calderbank taking three. as well as an absolute blinder of a catch in the deep

on another note stef basso of ana should be appluaded for his good sportsmanship yesterday in sect 1. given not out incorrectly he decided to walk. first time i have ever seen that done by any batsman from any team. just goes to show sportsmanship is not dead in asca. however our b grade lads would strongly disagree after one of their games this year turned into a complete farce.

what happened in the b grade game mate?

U/21's rolled for 121 on an average deck. Brad Christie 20 odd, Quirke 20 odd. About 35 extras which helped. Had turf 6/60 (young fella from keswick took 3/28 of 8 overs) but they had a partnership late and got over the line 7 down. Hopefully it's not the same story in the Sth Rd/ WYC game on Saturday.

Someone needs to fine the association. No details of the match were even posted on their 'redundant' website.

Well bowled bow-wow woof-woof! Hopefully he can back it up this week against Morphys.

This forum needs a bit of life!

Haha was talking to a mate about this at training, and with the Association matches due to be played in the new year, we discussed who would be in your representative XI? For mine:

D Sampson
J Whenan
R Curyer
H Mackay
R Hopkins
M Thomas
B McCormack
D Rowe
J Lourens
B Cameron
S Foster

Can't argue with much of this - but feel compelled to put Maysies name in the mix - he's right up there in my opinion.

Jake wouldn't make the side.

D Rowe, Sampson and Lourens are 3 certainties as bowlers for me and Maysie, Foster, Cameron and Blesing the others who are a chance. Michael Thomas would make the side on his batting alone but would be able to bowl as well, so i would think the side would bat down to 10 or 11. Lourens would be batting at 11 and he is quite handy with the bat.

SOTY, no chance of myself being in that side. Last two innings of 0 and 1 wouldn't help.

Side in my opinion would be:

Sampson
Michael Thomas
Curyer
Hopkins
McKay
Daniel Rowe
McCormack
Smith
Foster
Cameron
Lourens

12th: D. Thomas

This side has a good bowling attack in Lourens, Rowe, Cameron, Sampson, foster with the part timers to be Curyer, Smith and Michael Thomas. Hopkins wont bowl in these games I wouldn't think due to ankle/knee problems.

Smith I don't think is in the best eleven, however it's a side that should be picked on form and not reputation! His batting this year makes him deserve a spot I guess.

Probably quickest for three overs! His fourth over against us in the t20 was well down on the first 3 overs. Wouldn't wana see him after tea bowling his 15th over. Can bowl though.

Darren Thomas not a certainty though I wouldn't think

Harvey has only played 2 games so far this season though CK. BC has played 5 games and taken 15 wickets. Harves has played 2 games with 6 wickets and 99 runs. Will be a handy inclusion after Christmas when he says he can play a bit more!

Also looks like most games will be interesting this weekend! Hoping the Sheidow boys can add another 20 or so in their final overs to put around 200 on the board and have a good bowling performance again to finish the year off with a 2nd win in a row.
