20/20 footy

a great sight tonight at happy valley oval at least 1000 people out to watch a preseason comp ! footy is back in town edwardstown narrow victors over reynella and same in the late game valleys over blackwood .seriously a great heads up by valleys $2 entry 4 2 80 min games quick brand of footy and the crowd was huge .club would have made packet with bar take plus food and drink from the canteen . all i can say is great concept it works and im sure more clubs will want to jump on board next year !!! well done !!

Reynellas ruckmen looked like a new player . Was swaping with Campia off bench. Anyone know much bout him.

The ruckman was Marshall Morley, played the last couple of years at Reynella, plus a couple of ressie's games at sturt last year. Only played the game a few years after playing water polo. Fairly raw but goes OK. Was reynella's 3rd choice ruckman last year and plaeyd in the B-grade premiership

i have heard from a few people it was a real success on friday night any chance for more teams to join next year...

went round there again sat night smaller crowd still well attended though . was weaker games on sat compered to fri but next fri puts up a good one in b/wood v cove and sat h/valley v edwardstown . also herd that m/vale ,marion ,mt lofty and kangarilla were invited but declined im sure there will be a few more clubs wanting to jump on board next year !!!

it took happy valley about 15 mins to work out that if you hit blackwood hard they will go to water some things never change :lol:

What were the results? I am assuming wins to Towns, Valleys and Cove????

why dont ya hit us and see sotters which club are you tied up with the blackwood blokes we got are the good ones that dont mind a bit of the rough stuff but as i said hit and see the shoes have always done alrighgt in that department :ANAL:
