More praise indeed, thier fixed odds are as good as any Corp bookie from what I have seen
Im also impressed at the amount of meetings they bet on, sometimes they are the only ones that bet on some of the more obscure bush meetings

In genaral they are carp!

however..... I will pay credit where credit is due.....

their fixed price is the best I have seen of any corporate. One horse I was keen on was $15 on course. I got $51 fixed (and could have got $61 if I was a little more patient). Another horse was $31 on course I got $121 fixed. Another one $21 on course - I got $76 fixed.
These rougher horses drift a lot late in betting. They open up 1/3 of the odds they end up at.
None of them won but just shows the carp prices even oncourse compared to TAB fixed.

Interesting to note that Unitab is the ONLY TAB in Australia to operate on the Southwell gallops tonight.
W.A. Ozbet don't seem to operate on International meeting Sun & Mon nights for some reason.
Vic & NSW Tabs have ABANDONED their service of this meeting due to i believe in originally posting the in-correct fields for the meeting and then decided to scrap betting on the meeting after the mistake had been made.

Also an interesting incident in the 1st at Southwell, the odds on fave broke thru the barrier prior to the start and the gate broke off so they just took the horse out and went without the fave. i.e. L/Scr although their was nothing wrong with the horse. Would've thought if that happened in Aust, all the horses would've been taken out and the Gate fixed or replaced to allow the horse to run.
Apparently it was explained that they dont F**K around over there and bcos it was the horses' fault it broke the gate it's just tough luck.

Well done to the punters who backed the winner of Race 2 at Southwell.
No.2 Heresellie Started $5.50 Fave (45/10 or 9/2) with the on-course bookies in a very open race.
Obviously Unitab punters were in the know as it was backed as if unbeatable late in betting to end up paying $1.50 the WIN and $1.70 the place

Lucky for me the race started just as i was about to back all the huge overs in the race so didn't get a bet on.

Hardly anyone in Aust going by the size the pools although there's probably about 10 million punters in England.

Betfair would be the way to go. However if you are only a small punter the small pools of Unitab will throw up a few eye opening results.

When comparing the set odds on thouroughbred race meetings
Unitab is light years in front of the VIC/NSW/TAS TAB set odds
The Unitab odds are consistently the best odds of these 4 TABs

like TAB sportsbet prices across the country are the same I would have thought all 'fixed pricing racing' across the country would be the same.

Are you telling me they (NSW, Super tab , Uni) each employ someone to do the fixed odds and they are different odds at each corporation?

But generally they are all diverse enough in thier odds
So it looks like all the TABs all have thier individual assessors

At any given meeting I will back Unitab to display the best odds
Ive seen some roughies odds of up to double the odds
