O'Keefe 3/6 off 3 overs, would think that eclipses Warners efforts with the bat

Why wait till your 6 down to let Pollard destroy a side?!

24 off 12 and takes 17 off O'Keefes last over.

What an amazing catch by HenREBiques! Could only happen against the Redbacks!

Edit: He had to do that after conceding 29 off the previous over.

The ritz picked up 3/21 got pollard plus 9 and 10. We all saw who the best spinner in aus is. Totally decimated the redbacks top order. Look at the guys figures in all comps, outstanding. He will play alot of cricket for aus. Dont say i didnt warn you

From such an experienced state cricketer, the shot by Manou was very ordinary to say the least.
Pollard listed way too low, hope they learn from that.

Rashid, as an import the jury is still out after 1 game but it was hard to see what he has to offer.

Fantastic catch by HenREBiques.

last years most lethal opening bowler in the world was pretty ineffective.
If NSW aren't going to give O'Keefe a regular game, we'll have him.

SA 147 [17.1]
20 [18] HARRIS fair effort
10 [10] RUN MAXCHINE ordinary
0 [3] CHRISTIAN our middle order superdooper batsman batted 3, interesting , but neccessary ?
10 [6]COOPER always looks a star until he gets out
4 [6] BLIZZARD good hitter if batting top 3 in this format, but at 5 ?
5 [8] MANOU this ego trip must be stopped, batting above Pollard who scored the most runs in 20/20 last season
53 [24] POLLARD a one man batting exhibition, how he bats 7 is beyond me, surely coach Berry will wake up after tonight
19[16] OBRIEN another useful effort
6 [7]RASHID handy late effort, may improve
11[7] LYON handy effort, very correct player, a useful aqusition to the team
0* [1] TAIT

MOM Steven OKEEFE 3/23[4]
But for me POLLARDS effort exceeded OKEEFEs 53 off 24 and 1/15 of 3 overs
CLARK 3/28[4] what a bowler
THE RITZ 3/21 [3.2] very cool under pressure late in the innings

HenREBiques had a match to remember
7[12] a whirlwind batting effort strking at 58.33
0/29[1] one of the all time worst overs, puts him in the Mick Lewis class
But give credit where its due
He took a blinder to catch POLLARD that ultimately sealed the NS win

SA were poor apart form POLLARD and a couple of useful efforts
I know they lost tonight, but they are still the 2nd best 20/20 team in the comp in my opinion

FERGUSON in next game for either RASHID/LYON or one other batsman who I dont wanna name

Went tonight with a mate and enjoyed it...

Sat right on the fence in front of the Chappell stand closest to Bradman stand...

Hauritz copped a bit of lip from some drunk guys in the crowd and it got to him (they were singing something along the lines of 'You can't make the test team') to the point he turned around and gave them some lip back and gestured to one of the bigger guys slurring him about the size of the belly.

Hauritz claimed the final wicket to seal the win for NSW and accordingly turned to the area of the crowd and signalled to them. Funny stuff but thought Nathan should learn to block out the crap from the crowd.

Pollard's batting the highlight, fantastic effort and wouldn't have been surpirsed if SA got up had Moses not taken that rip snorter...

nah bp, that's one of the great things you can do at state level....get & give advice :D ;) most players that i've seen give it back (including to me) is done in humour......the only bloke who couldn't take it & got nasty was a bloke nicknamed 'the freak'

ps, remember david hussey's catch in last years T20 final ? he was copping heaps & when he caught it while dancing over the rope, he gave it back with a smile on the dial ;)

The guys in the crowd heckling hauritz were spot on. He is hack who should never and will never play another test for australia. Yes he had the last laugh tonite but the win was hardly due to him. Pollard got caught by a miracle catch on the fence, a no 9 stumped off a wide and the no 10 caught in the deep, hardly a match winning effort. Enjoy your win nath because you better get used to playing for the blues.

SOme strange batting from the Redbacks, 6 of the last 7 bats all out caught in the outfield.

Even after Pollard left they only needed 7 per over and could have got to a situation of needing 10-12 off the last over by just taking singles, instead they try to hit it like Pollard and give easy catches.

C'Mon Big Phil, surely you know enough about our states cricket history to get the name right.
We are the city of churches but that's taking it a bit far.

I hate it when the media get it wrong! ;)

Well done to the boys on the Hill tonight, first three wickets all coincided with them getting a Mexican wave going. Did O'Keefe turn any tonight all I saw was batsmen playing for the turn and getting bowled/missing straight ones.

'Ritz the best slow bowler I saw tonight
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
