Tattsbet rapidly becoming the 2nd best betting agency these days
They are taking on the Corporate Bookies and are doing a good job

Tattsbet also bet on more race meetings than most Corp Bookies from what Ive seen
They are gunna attract a few Interstate gamblers and link them with Unitab
So that could be a good thing overall for TAB turnover including exotics + multis

While I agree that their odds are good mal compared to other corporates fixed price. Some of those 'inflated' (like example of Cranbourne race 1)) prices are put up at the last few seconds before race start so that they remain there for the punter to see the results and think 'Gee look at those good fixed price odds'!.

I must congratulate the NSW TAB on thier latest
All phone bets are NOW a minimum of $10
It was minimum of $5 after 1-00pm, previously
It was also a $1 minimum b4 1-00pm previously

Half of my bets are below $10 for my Exotics and Multis
So now I have the 2 options for the $10 and below bets
SPEECH EXPRESS where I talk to a computer, and they wont recognise several bets that I must repeat[and it takes twice as long per bet]
INTERNET where I can keyboard my bets in on the website

This is wasting my time

OTHER OPTION
Put the bets on with the corp bookies
WHY
Becoz some will hold the bets, that way my dividend will be protected

The only reason I have not given the corps all my business, is the convienience factor
So now I will use the corps more often, or all the time

Im sure the NSW Execs have done thier homework

With me they will lose a lot of turnover

I put all supertab bets on with The tote Tasmania
They have a $5 limit for phone bets
And everyone gets a 1800 number

NSW is making me ring up Speech express to put bets below $10
And that costs me a phone call fee



Is a pity as Ive been with NSW for many years and have had nothing but excellent service

Does Supertab have this $10 minimum bet as well ?

simple dont bet with them

any investments you want to put on, you can bet through corporates and select which tab you want, so you can do your NSW investments that way.

IT would be a pity if this is permanant, as they are forging a reputation as arguably the leader of live betting and fixed odds for an Australian entity

They cover set odds racing extensively
They have improved thier services in recent times

Perhaps the price assessor/assessors where unavailable tonight
Very hard to make assessments in 20/20 as it happens very quickly
So maybe they just bet pre post and half time when its less hectic, and they could check the market place

IF I was assessing and displaying odds for the AU V EG game I would have been given a hiding
I had thought EG was gunna win until about 4 overs from the end

Yep, I'm waiting MT. I have a digital radio and was pretty disappointed when I found out TAB wasn't on there. QLD have digital, yet I have to sit and listen to my circa 60's "FLIP" transistor radio.

Not so much a mistake, as much as an odd market on the women's Australian Open game scheduled to start in about 40 minutes (likely to be longer):

Williams Venus 2.00 1st set winner 1.87 Over (21.5) 1.90
Petkovic Andrea 1.75 1st set winner 1.87 Under (21.5) 1.85

For starters, that looks a very long price on Venus Williams, who generally plays very well at the Aust Open (her price of $26 to win the tournament looks rather long also - I can't ever recall seeing her at that sort of price to win a non-clay Grand Slam event).

The games over/under option also looks a bit odd. If the match goes to three sets, then the over option seems top value. I can't really see Petkovic winning in straight sets - making a Williams win in either two or three sets a very good way of, at absolute worst, breaking even and quite possibly near doubling the money.

(This may not look so good by later tonight, of course, but for a player of her quality...)

I know head to head all bets are off but is that also the case in slightly exotic Tennis bets such as games under/over and set betting ????
