a few things of note about CLGFC

the rumours we are spending big is absolute nonsence.

this 6 foot 6 recruit must not be training or alive because the tallest we have on the track is about 6 foot 3

we have signed a number of players we expect to play round one a grade football

these players are young and want to stick around for the future

we have retained EVERY player who played for us last year despite the efforts of mitcham and some other clubs to poach these players

the players we have recruited have previously played under our new coach paul crichton

they are from the southern football league

Geez, after a couple of pre season trainings you know these boys want to stick around for the future. With the dollars they're on, i'd say that too. Whether it was true or not!

Dont worry Scottroo, i dont believe anyone in div 7 would be on $350 a week, but i do believe you are paying these young fellas something. And what you'll find, as with most players who chase the coin, they will be gone when the money dries up or the team starts struggling. And to say they are going to be around for the future when you've only met them a couple of times is a bit rich

Now they are looking at 2 Trials? 3 weeks is an eternity in football.

With all the In's and Out's he probably needs to see what he isleft with.

When are you all going to put your clearances in? Before or After the trial games?

quote="Jono"]After my conversations with Lane Trembath Sat night he believes they will be much stronger than last year. Club had no concerns letting HArvey go due to off field and on field antics also the big money offered to him by CLG they couldn't match...... they picked up a big strong CHB who played at Gaza and also West Adelaide. 3 other recruits who will play A grade and fit in nicely as he put it.......Not much mention of the U 18's from last year[/quote]

Poor scootroo not making much sense her mate? thought you wernt paying money?
