I didn't get put in the book. But to be honest, do you think its good practice for an umpire to go to an opponents ground after a game and complain about players? Seriously... get a life Don.

All i am doing is passing information on to the people who were complaining about umpires no less than a couple of weeks ago!

Umpires are humans mate, they talk about work. Don rocked up and just said to me and Russell that his game finished early and you guys didn't take the loss too well.
He then said "I had to get the warning book out because of the crap going on"
I said "Who was it? OKC"
He said "Yeah, how did you guess?"
He didn't go into any great details, he just said that he threatened to get the book out and you told him he may aswell put your name in it, so he did.

I heard he said alot more, may have not been while you were there.

Spoke to someone who is in the know about all things PDCA, and he was telling me that we must as players go to the AGM and make a suggestion that the PDCA board takes over the umpiring. People then have to second and vote on this. If people are serious about the rubbish that is given to us on a weekly basis, then we need to make ourselves heard. This will solve the problem of Umpires reading their own report cards etc and have nothing done about it. Please pass this information on so we get decent umpires and won't have to worry about getting Donny Don't sledge or anything like that anymore.

You've got to get people to show up to the AGM though . My experience with sports etc, most people are more than happy to whinge and complain and point out flaws, but very very few are actually willing to either come up with a suggestion to fix it or put their hand up and turn up to something like an AGM.

Dont think the umpire was any help to PDCA either. We had him last week and I asked what happened and he replied he didnt know as it all happened behind him, by the time he turned around there were players & spectators everywhere and that both captains sorted it out on the day.
If what I hear is true the Playford player who got whacked was reacting to some spectators from the side lines. Only what I have heard so may not be the complete truth.

At least they have brought in S Marsh who is in form. They should pick players on form not reputation. Christian or Hopes instead of Hastings. Krejza for Hauritz. Hodge for Smith. Some new blood for Lee.
We have a couple of player with injuries like Harris, M Hussey, Ponting & M Marsh which I think would all play in the ODI team.
