sorry lm, work got in the way.
ok in all my years playing this game  I have never heard of a grade side folding and then the players from said side can play in a lower grade.
what is supposed to happen is if the a grade fold then automatically the b grade side becomes the new a side and so on.
if they are not strong enough for that to happen then the said club will be told to leave the assoc. thats what has happened before. tough ,yes , but that is why we have these rules so no one team can stack 1 side in b, and have no A grade,
you cant just say we wont be strong enough if we put half the b grade up, because that is where you get your players from when you are short anyway.........
as I said I am not in your assoc, but if it happened in yours it could happen in ours....
put yourself in the teams like r&c that got thumped the other day , do you think that they would want to play that side again???? probibly would struggle to fill their own side if that happened to happen. why turn up to get thumped again from a team who doesnt deserve to be there.IMO.

I have a question, what are your eligibility laws for playing finals?
Ours are if you play more days in a higher grade you are ineligible for lower grades finals. If this was the case the guys that have played Div 3 all year surely wont qualify for div 8 finals

true , but what about teams that get beat from now on ? it may affect the lead up to the finals.
if you are third and fourth , then this side may knock one or both out of finals , could change the top order ??

it wouldnt count in this one as they have no a grade side, so in theory they are playing as high as they can for their club.

I don't even know what your trying to do here? You giving me crap for saying browny did well or what???

I thought you were saying browny got out 1st ball? So he was the bowler?

So they have played one day plus 7 more gives them 8, and lets say they have played 12 already in div 3. Does this mean the guys that have played div 8 all year who are missing out now will have to be re called come finals time to fill their team. if this is the case and i was one of those players i know what i would be saying to the club. Both Playford and PDCA have got this wrong.
The only sensible solution was for no decisions to be made, in other words Playford still have div 3 and they can still try and field a div 8 if they cant they forfeit div 8 as per your normal rules

Surely if something like this happens to Playford, Wasleys should follow they dont deserve to get beaten every week they deserve a fair game aswell. They been doing it all year without complaining yet as soon as its R&C there is an uproar. Playford should stop both teams and players should be allowed to join other clubs and finish the year, not fair on the 5 or 6 grade 8 players now to miss out to fit the A graders in, then more after the suspensions is finished.

Mate you sound like an idiot! This isn't about r&c, this is about a club like Playford who in my opinion have done the wrong thing, and now instead of being punished, they are being rewarded in lower grades!

I would have no issues with Wasley playing at a lower level, great bunch of blokes who have copped a hiding this year but keep trying, have a lot of respect for them, however i would not have any sympathy for Playford playing in grade 3 and getting pummelled!!

Teams like Brahma Lodge, TTG, R&C & the Tigers in grade 8 now have a massive uphill battle to hold onto their premiership dreams all because these guys are being allowed to drop down there! These sides have played all year and put the hard yards in, now to possibly get done so close to the end of the season is plain unfair.
