Mate you sound like an idiot! This isn't about r&c, this is about a club like Playford who in my opinion have done the wrong thing, and now instead of being punished, they are being rewarded in lower grades!

I would have no issues with Wasley playing at a lower level, great bunch of blokes who have copped a hiding this year but keep trying, have a lot of respect for them, however i would not have any sympathy for Playford playing in grade 3 and getting pummelled!!

Teams like Brahma Lodge, TTG, R&C & the Tigers in grade 8 now have a massive uphill battle to hold onto their premiership dreams all because these guys are being allowed to drop down there! These sides have played all year and put the hard yards in, now to possibly get done so close to the end of the season is plain unfair.[/quote]

Well done hero get abbusive on a forum. I never agreed with them being able to play grade 8 read the whole post next time hero. They shouldnt and it isnt fair but like i said wasleys are playing in a mountain side battle yet no one has done anything to stopped teams like R&C, Brahma Lodge, Sals West etc from smashing them, you guys are more then happy to take the points there my point to you is the PDCA dont care what team plays where by these accounts so i cant see them changing this one either. From all reports they should Playford forfit the whole competition for there actions or the whole Grade 3 side players cant play.

But in all honesty what should happen with this issue. You have one hand which is Playford players from grade 3 playing in Grade 8 which doesnt help the opposition players or the other hand were you have Grade 8 players playing in grade 3 which doesnt help from playing in a much higher grade. Who should get the punishment?

Days i would suggest you dont ask him this question. He is handy can keep, bats high to middle order and bowls mediums.

His only a handy Grade 3 player, bats alright but throws his innings away to really poor shots on most occasions, bowls a bit of part time medium which is useful and he can also keep a tad without being brilliant. Is pretty handy in the field as well.

BUT

he is a really nice bloke who will be committed, train hard every session and always be reliable and on time no matter what side he is in.

Plus you get the added bonus that he brings a full time scorer along with him.

Cant say Im surprised at this... He was talking about making this switch before the start of this season anyway. I guess the shambles from the past few weeks has finally pushed him out the door.

If this is the case WTF is he thinking wanting to play grade 8...is it because he is loyal to his club or is it he likes being a big fish? I dont know him or ever heard of him so i dont know what kind of person he is but to play grade 8 and dominate is not what pdca needs...

This is his first season at Playford, he has always played below his ability level IMO, it was good to see him playing Grade 3 at least this year. I think he just enjoys having a hit and a few bevvies without too much pressure. He played for Elizabeth Rugby/ Elizabeth East and then went out and played Grade 97 for Paralowie last season when they had a mass exodus from the East.
We'd be more than happy to have him, we've tried.
