10 x 400m at Kensignton, that sucks, but it brings back memories

My first night at training for Central u /17 was the first night Kerls took charge at the club, back then esrly in pre-season for the running drills Kerls made the u / 17 and u/19 train with the senior squad

I was 16, walking to training from school, it was early Nov and a pretty warm day, given it was the first night of pre-season and my first day at the club, I was expecting a light session, so I decided on the way to training to knock bacl ltr coke and minimum hot chips from the local fisn chips shop

The first night consistet of 100 x 100m sprints (10km) in toal, only recovery was a light jog back to the start

Lets just say I sprayed my coke and chips in the left forward pocket at the northern end on many occassions, and Kerls well he gave me a spray of his own

I can only go by what dumb and dumber said on 5AA but they said Sellar looked impressive, I doubt if they knew who anyone else on the field was.
Sellar played at full forward.

not to many 17 year olds dominate for a full season in there first year of senior footy

over the summer I already sense that this kid is carry unrealistic expectations from the footy public

i hope the media, crows supporters and SA footy fans in general don't pour undue pressure on this kid and lets give him the year or two to develop the base he needs to become a good player

he will have his bad days , but at this age they all do

I've only been to 1 of the Norwood-Crows trial games, the one that was played a couple of years ago by a combined Norwood-North side. The game was a joke, total waste of time, and it would appear nothings changed. Both NFC & AFC would be better served from internal trial games than that one sided rubbish.

well, people will question the value of the game

at least craigy will wake up this morning with a lot more confidence in Hudson's fitness, reading the Craptiser Big Bun moved well, jumped high and kicked 5 goals

the advantage in Ben's recovery is he started playing July last year, so he had two months of footy to get his confidence back, the bonus is he has just completed a huge pre-season and he is raring to go

can anyone confirm if he wore the knee brace

that scoreline would be enough to leave REB speechless!

*Norwood scored only 4 pts in a half of football!
