Globe Derby Friday 4th

Race 1) PARTY SMARTIE -should nearly find it's way to the top and will be extremely hard to beat, has a good sprint.

Race 4) MICA PINK - should be to good for the rest of these, believe it will be driven aggressively and find it's way to the top sometime throughout the race and win by a comfortable margin.

Race 5) UNIONS UNITED - much improved run last start should get a lovely trip behind the leader and will be sprinting home hard.

gloucester park tonight....from harness.org

Form Analysis by Wes Cameron

Race 1:
SEEL N PRINT (3) is a former New Zealander in the stables of Greg Bond having his first run in the West. He has been placed in both runs back from a spell in his homeland before heading to W.A. He rated 2.00.2; 59.6, 29.4 winning a 2150m mobile Byford trial January 11. WHO THRU TEDDY (6) has returned to racing in fine form with wins in three of four starts. He was sent forward early to lead and did enough when holding out Im In Luck on Monday. His previous two victories were solid performances at Bunbury and at Headquarters. SCOT BAY (7) won 6 of his 12 starts as a two year old and he has returned in tremendous form in this his classic year. He breezed when 4th to Who Thru Teddy at Bunbury January 22 and then worked forward mid-race to lead when a runaway winner over Armbro Lincoln at Harvey last Saturday. BLISSFULL BOY (8) has been racing consistently and he will just need his share of luck from an awkward gate. He was up on the speed and fought on courageously when 2nd to Ohokas Bondy January 21. SCUBA STEVE (11) rises sharply in grade but he looks to be a talented type in the making. He made his debut at Narrogin January 26 when leading throughout to defeat Torrevean Revitup in moderate time. MISS BAYPOINT (12) should be at her peak following three runs back from a spell. She was trapped three wide throughout and never shirked the task when 3rd to Lucky Drew at Pinjarra January 24. SEXY BEAST (9) has plenty of ability but at this stage in his career he is too wayward and unreliable to be a serious punting proposition. He broke in the score-up and trailed the field when 6th to Ohokas Bondy January 21. If he does everything right he could easily be in the finish. NICANORA (2) led then trailed when a 15m 3rd to Scot Bay at Harvey January 29. He has been placed in two of four runs this preparation and he must have some appeal for the novelties. MATTERAFACTOR (1) was placed behind Scuba Steve at Narrogin January 26 before breezing and fading when 7th to Scot bay at Harvey last Saturday. OUR DEZZY MAC (4) faced the breeze when a strong winner over Nic Nak Nero at Harvey January 13. In his latest run he was always well back when 7th to Who Thru Teddy at Bunbury January 22. BATAVIA JACK (5) has won three of his past four starts but is still likely to be at double figure odds. He rises in grade on consecutive victories at Busselton January 21 & 28. ATOMIC CHIP (10) has won two of his five starts this campaign. He ran on to easily defeat Soho Dionysus at Northam January 4 and then was never a factor when 6th to Shipwreck at Northam January 15.
SELECTIONS: SEEL N PRINT (3), WHO THRU TEDDY (6), SCOT BAY (7), BLISSFULL BOY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SEEL N PRINT (3)
EXOTIC BET: Flexi First Four 3 / 6, 7, 8 / 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 22.22%)

Race 2:
LEGISLATE (12) is racing in grand form and the 6yo should prove hard to beat. He was driven like the best horse in the race when a 2609m stand winner at Pinjarra January 24. He blew the start and was forever chasing when a game 3rd to Dream Guest last Friday. The switch back to mobile conditions will suit. THAT’S AMBITIOUS (3) has his best draw in a long time and this appears to be his best opportunity to win an M0. He had excuses two starts back when 6th to Sandler January 21. He looked disappointing but he did have to do his share of work when fading 4th behind Kamwood Holmes last Friday. IN THE MAGIC DEN (2) is racing with plenty of enthusiasm and she should be prominent from the draw. She raced leaders back before edging out Pole Dancer at Pinjarra January 24. CAPELIGHT (1) has been placed in his past two starts and the 6yo will be prominent from the pole. He raced leaders back when 3rd to Sandler January 21 before fighting on well to finish 3rd to Liquid Radar at Northam January 27. SHARIFA (11) has turned the corner this campaign. The 7yo had only won one race in 80 starts before her resumption this season and it has been a remarkable reversal of form. She worked forward mid-race to breeze and fought on well when finishing 2nd to Beach Bandit last Friday. JOSHUAS REIGN (5) has been a model of consistency this season. From his 14 starts he has won three races and been placed on nine occasions. He started favourite but was retired from the Busselton Cup last Friday with a flat tyre. JACKMANDOO (6) competed in one of the weakest M0’s ever seen last Friday when finishing 4th to Beach Bandit. He had a speed battle early with Face Your Fears and punters paid the price when the 7yo faded over the late stages. He will have admirers. SIRDREMMA (9) ran home strongly when defeating As Wicked As at Harvey last Saturday. That was a sharp improvement on some previous ordinary form. The draw hurts but he must have claims on his latest victory. TOO BAD (7) has had two runs back from a short break. He sat worse than midfield in the moving line before running on well to finish 3rd to Kamwood Holmes last Friday. He has appeal at odds if he can reproduce his latest effort. WONOFUS (4) ran consecutive placings at Bunbury before rising in grade and finishing unplaced behind Lombo Navigator in the Harvey Cup last Saturday. The 8yo hasn’t won a race since March 2008 and a win here would surprise. HEAINTHEAVY (11) was a winner here October 16 against much weaker opposition and on his exposed form he will be fully tested here. He raced worse than midfield and never threatened when 7th to Village vagabond at Northam January 27. MIAMI BRAVO (8) has been hamstrung by the barrier draw. The 6yo has only been placed in one of seven starts since resuming and he has been getting beaten in much easier races.
SELECTIONS: LEGISLATE (12), THAT’S AMBITIOUS (3), IN THE MAGIC DEN (2), CAPELIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LEGISLATE (12) win
EXOTIC BET: Flexi First Four 12 / 1, 2, 3 / 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10 / FD (Cost $30 for 22.22%)

Race 3:
IDOLIZE ME (4) is coming to town at the right time. The 4yo has won his past two starts in fine style at Northam and this looks a winnable M0. He led and careered away from rivals when defeating Miss Azooma in 1.59.4 January 27. He has early speed and should be prominent from the outset. TO TRANSCEND (10) is a former New Zealander who won his first three starts in the West in dashing style. He rose in grade last Saturday when tackling quality opposition in the Harvey Cup. He led early then opted for a trail before finishing 5th to Lombo Navigator. The 5yo will just need a bit of luck from the draw. JUSTLIKELINDT (2) is a promising type still learning the art of racing. He was a beaten favourite two starts back when 5th to Zine Zidane January 18. He raced three back on the pegs and hit the line well when 3rd to Kamwood Holmes last Friday. MAGICAL MONTY (12) has won four of his nine starts this campaign and the 5yo will have admirers on an each way basis. He settled well back in the moving line before running home strongly to finish 3rd behind James Morrison at Narrogin January 26. ALBY ALBERT (8) is a consistent performer in M0 company. He tries hard but invariably he always meets rivals who are better than him. He ran on well over the late stages when 2nd to Zanardi last Friday. PAPARAZZI MAC (7) has been in fine form for Ron Huston. He won three races in succession before finishing 7th to Golden Bromac at Narrogin January 26. At his latest run he contacted a sulky and broke in the run. He can rebound. COMING IN LOADED (1) notched his first win this preparation when leading throughout to defeat Liquid radar January 18. The 6yo was perfectly rated last start and must be some hope off the pole despite rising in grade. LAST CHEQUE (3) broke in the score up and was badly checked when distanced at his local debut January 14. He has since trialled satisfactorily at Byford and could be a novelty inclusion. KINKI VILLAGE (11) has won two of his past three starts but the 8yo has been trying to win in this company for what seems eternity. At his latest run in M0 grade he finished 9th behind Mighty Shard December 10. EASY ARMBRO (6) strips fitter following three runs back from a spell. The 8yo raced one out one back when finishing 4th to Zanardi last Friday. He excels when he can draw a gate and his time will come soon. CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS (5) resumes from a spell. The 8yo hasn’t raced since finishing 6th to Bronze Icon November 12 and he hasn’t been produced in recent trials. He finds it hard to win and is likely to be tested first up. COLOMBO (9) has only been placed once in 12 starts this season and the 12yo will struggle. He started at tote odds of 108/1 when 7th to Idolize Me at Northam January 27.
SELECTIONS: IDOLIZE ME (4), TO TRANSCEND (10), JUSTLIKELINDT (2), MAGICAL MONTY (12)
SUGGESTED BET: IDOLIZE ME (4) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi First Four 4 / 2, 10, 12 / 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 22.22%)

Race 4:
DREAM GUEST (8) has quickly hit form. The former Victorian showed bad manners at his local debut before leading throughout in consecutive stands. He has drawn wide but on exposed form looks hard to beat. ZANARDI (7) ran a great race when finishing 3rd to All Our Mac two starts back when he worked hard and fought on well. He appreciated a good draw when leading and easily defeating moderate opposition last Friday. The draw makes this assignment tougher but the 5yo is racing with spirit. WESTWIND RENEGADE (11) has had his share of trainers and the 7yo will prove hard to beat if he can reproduce his latest effort at Narrogin. He worked forward to face the breeze and scored a runaway victory over Young Richard. He has proven hard to catch in the past. REDDAS LAST (4) ran consecutive placings behind Bullets And Bluff and Gathering Gears before finishing 9th to Village In Vesa January 21. He sat back, tracked up three wide but couldn’t go on with it at his latest run. He can be dangerous if he gets the right run. GRUMPYS GIRL (1) won well against her own sex at Harvey three starts back. She has been unplaced in two runs since but may enjoy a soft run from the pole. The 7yo breezed when fading to finish 5th behind Chelsea Diamond at Narrogin January 26. DEATH ADDA (9) has been placed in three of six starts since resuming. He breezed early then gained cover and fought on soundly when 4th to Miss Azooma on Monday. This looks a tough test from barrier 9. RIGATONI (10) appears to be racing below his best. He never got into the race when 6th to Dav Ed Ash January 14. A week later he tracked up three wide but failed to make an impression when 10th to Village In Vesa. The 6yo will get a softer run here and that seems essential to his chances of finishing in the placings. TUAPEKA TIZ (12) raced midfield moving line before running on to defeat a weak claiming field at Pinjarra January 24. He had his first start for David Young when held up for a run after racing three back on the pegs when 6th to Ohoka Samson last Friday. The 7yo appeals on an each way basis. PACIFIC FORTUNE (3) ran on to defeat Takem Easy November 19 but he has only been placed in one of five runs since. He had to do his share of work when 7th to Bruce Almighty January 18. BEACH BANDIT (5) has won two of his past five starts. He enjoyed a lovely run but wilted when 11th to Island Storm January 21 and then met the near weakest M0 field when running on to defeat Sharifa last Friday. The 6yo has some appeal for the novelties. OHOKA TOKEY (6) resumes from a spell and hasn’t been seen in public trials. The 8yo was a winner here in April but he generally finds it hard to win. He hasn’t raced since finishing 6th to Our Slick Whitby April 23 JANICE FRANCO (2) appreciated a fast speed up front when hitting the line to finish 2nd to Secret Interlude at Northam January 15. She had a soft run since three back on the pegs when 7th to Village In Vesa January 21.
SELECTIONS: DREAM GUEST (8), ZANARDI (7), WESTWIND RENEGADE (11), REDDAS LAST (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DREAM GUEST (8) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi Trifecta 7, 8, 11 / 1, 4, 7, 8, 11 / FD (Cost $30 for 25.00%)

Race 5:
MISTER ODDS ON (7) has had three runs for Trevor Warwick and his past two runs have been eye-catching efforts. He sat back and got home well when 4th to Nickelmeldon last Friday. This is a bigger field but if he can get cover (three wide) look for him steaming home late. COUNTRY CHANGE (2) has been knocking on the door of success and the 5yo has drawn ideally for this assignment. She led then trailed when 2nd to Nowuseeme January 21 and then she breezed from mid-race when a strong 2nd to Salliwood last Friday. BULLETS AND BLUFF (11) won his first two runs back from a spell before finishing 2nd to Smart Cullen January 14. He started at a ridiculously short price last Friday when he settled well back and ran on late when 5th to Nickelmeldon. He should encounter a good run just off the speed but he does perform best when leading. ASTROLABE STORM (10) resumed from a short break when running on to finish 5th behind Partywiththedevil January 21. He will get a soft run here and he will hit the line well . TSUNAMI LOMBO (8) resumes and the 6yo is a competent performer. He was placed in two of four starts when last in work and a forward showing wouldn’t surprise. CHRISTOPHER THREE (6) hasn’t been too far away in recent outings. He fought on well when 5th to Bubbles And Bling at Pinjarra January 24. He backed up last Friday and looked a shade disappointing when 6th to Salliwood. XUPAN THREE (3) is a capable type whose form at the moment is dismal. He raced one out two back and held his ground when a 5m 7th to Copper Beach Girl last Friday. Improvement wouldn’t surprise and he can be included in the novelties. PARTYWITHTHEDEVIL (12) led throughout when defeating Flamin Tact January 21. He then raced three back on the pegs and erupted late when 3rd to Nickelmeldon last Friday. His trainer has stated that he goes best when leading however last week he showed that he could cut the mustard when driven with a sit. SMOKING AGAIN (1) has the perfect draw. The mare may not be racing at her best but she has the speed to lead and/or take a sit on a desired rival. She lacked sparkle when 9th to Smart Cullen January 14 before looking a shade unlucky when 5th to Copper Beach Girl last Friday. She could give some cheek if she led and got away with an easy sectional. ARMA HARRIS (9) is working his way back into form. The 7yo has had four runs back from a spell and he hasn’t been suited in any of those runs. He has had a bad barrier and been off tough marks in stands since resuming and again here he has drawn barrier 9. Keep an eye on his run and when he draws a barrier don’t be afraid to invest a little. LITTLE SONNY BILL (4) ran on well when defeating moderate opposition at Northam January 15. He rose in grade and was far from disgraced when making late ground to finish 5th to Salliwood last Friday. TOUCH ME TOES (5) has been doing most of his recent racing in claimers and the 9yo looks outclassed here. He raced one out one back when 6th to Nickelmeldon last Friday.
SELECTIONS: MISTER ODDS ON (7), COUNTRY CHANGE (2), BULLETS AND BLUFF (11), ASTROLABE STORM (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER ODDS ON (7) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi Trifecta 2, 7 / 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 23.80%)

Race 6:
ALZONA (8) has been racing against supreme opposition of late and the 6yo looks suited. He never threatened when 7th to Im Themightyquinn in the Fremantle Cup January 14. He handed up early and raced leaders back when 6th to Im Themightyquinn in the W.A. Pacing Cup January 21. He won a stand four starts back when defeating Ohoka Rebel. HIRLI BIRLI LOMBO (3) has been consistent this season. The 6yo had a gut-buster when 4th to Smart Cullen January 14. He may have been jaded from that tough run when dropping out to finish 7th behind Partywiththedevil January 21. Sharp improvement wouldn’t surprise. MOTU TREASURE (9) has won 10 of 17 starts since arriving in the West. He ran home boldly when 2nd to Albert Jaccka two starts back. He sped across to lead but compounded when finishing distanced behind Aussie Reactor in a Pacing Cup consolation January 21. PACIFIC BLACK (2) has returned to racing in fine form with placings in each of his three runs back from a spell. He galloped out and raced three back on the pegs before getting out late when 3rd to Salliwood last Friday. SALLIWOOD (5) has won two of her past four starts. She ran on without threatening when 4th to Legislate at Pinjarra January 24. At her latest run she was beautifully driven by Shannon Suvaljko when running home late to defeat Country Change last Friday. VILLAGE STEEL (1) has had the benefit of three runs back from a spell and the 8yo is always a threat when he draws to lead. He faced the breeze when finishing 3rd to Little Sonny Bill at Northam January 15. The 8yo looks suited in this event. PUHINUI RAINBOW (7) led throughout to defeat Salliwood December 24. He has been placed in one of three runs since. He had plenty of excuses when 6th to Dream Guest January 18. MONEY TWITCH (10) appears to be racing a shade below his best at the moment. He failed to get into the race when 7th to Aussie Reactor January 21. He drew the pole, raced leaders back and had a good dip at the leader but couldn’t reel in Has The Answers last Friday. The 20m may be the test. SIR ARTSPLACE (6) showed a return to form at his latest outing when flashing home late to finish 2nd behind Bubbles And Bling at Pinjarra January 24. His previous form was against tough opposition and he can be included in the novelties. CASSIE ROX (4) ran on to defeat Smooth Jasper in a stand at Northam four starts back. She has been beaten similar margins in her past two runs in town. She faded to finish 9th to behind Salliwood last Friday after racing prominently in the moving line.
SELECTIONS: ALZONA (8), HIRLI BIRLI LOMBO (3), MOTU TREASURE (9), PACIFIC BLACK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALZONA (8) win
EXOTIC BET: Flexi First Four 8 / 2, 3, 9 / 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 / FD (Cost $30 for 28.57%)

Race 7:
PABLITO (12) hit the line well when finishing 3rd to Aussie Reactor January 21. He breezed for the first 1200m then gained cover but got dragged back near the 400m and broke when distanced behind Has The Answers last Friday. AUSSIE REACTOR (9) ran consecutive placings before a super effort when rushing home late and just holding out Jumbo Operator in the W.A. Pacing Cup consolation January 21. He will get back but if he can gain cover three wide in the final lap he will play a part in the finish. ALBERT JACCKA (8) led throughout to win the Fremantle Pacing Cup consolation January 14 before being outclassed in the Pacing Cup when finishing 9th to Im Themightyquinn. The draw is a setback but he will be running on at the business end. SCRAM JET (11) continues to race well. The 9yoled throughout and rated 1.55.8 when defeating Spirit Of Shard in a 2100m mobile January 21. He still can run time. NICKELMELDON (4) returned to form last Friday when he raced leaders back and got out late when defeating On All Fours. CAN RETURN FIRE (7) led throughout to defeat Pablito four starts back. The 6yo has been unplaced in three runs since. He ran on over the late stages when 4th to Lombo Navigator in the Harvey Cup last Saturday. HY ROYALE (10) resumes. The 7yo hasn’t raced since finishing 10th behind Has The answers September 10. He was placed in a recent Byford trial and off a soft run he could ping home late. IRISH ONEILL (3) is racing well out of his grade but he could give some cheek if he happened to find the front. He worked early and settled one out two back when a last start 7th to Ohoka Samson last Friday. SPIRIT OF SHARD (5) raced leaders back when 2nd to Scram Jet two starts back. He enjoyed a good run in the moving line before finishing 4th to Has The Answers last Friday. DENZEL WASHINGTON (2) wasn’t disgraced when finishing 5th to Ohoka Samson last Friday. The 8yo hasn’t won a race since August 2009 and this is a severe test against better performed runners. GLENCADAM (4) ran his first placing for the season when he raced three back on the pegs and held his ground late stages when 3rd to Has The Answers last Friday. HYHOPE (1) has drawn ideally but the 7yo has been getting beaten against lesser opposition of late. He raced three back on the pegs when 5th to Miss Azooma on Monday.
SELECTIONS: PABLITO (12), AUSSIE REACTOR (9), ALBERT JACCKA (8), SCRAM JET (11)
SUGGESTED BET: PABLITO (12) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi Trifecta 8, 9, 12 / 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 20.00%)
Race 8:

ELENA S (8) was an all the way winner over 1730m November 5 and then was unplaced in her next three starts over the sprint journey. She looked as if she was going to play a part in the finish but Grant Williams was dislodged from the sulky on the corner in her latest run behind Nowuseeme January 21. The 5yo has each way appeal. ELLA SUE (3) breezed when a strong winner at Northam January 4. She again breezed but faded late when 4th to Grumpys Girl at Harvey January 13.On Monday she drew wide and was unwanted in betting when finishing 7th to Miss Azooma. It won’t surprise to see sharp improvement from the better draw. KAMWOOD HOLMES (6) has hit form and looks a leading contender. She raced four back on the pegs and battled away soundly when 4th to Nowuseeme January 21. She was better served last Friday when she drew to lead and kept running when an impressive winner over Justlikelindt, rating 1.57.5 for the 2100m mobile. BARLEYS HOPE (1) has been thereabouts of late and the 5yo could give some cheek. She showed early toe, quickly opted for a trail and enjoyed a lovely run before finishing 4th to Ohoka Samson last Friday. PACIFIC JACCKA (2) hasn’t been too far away of late. She enjoyed a good run one out one back but was held up for a run over the late stages when 6th to Copper Beach Girl last Friday. The 5yo has drawn to be prominent. SECRET INTERLUDE (12) won well at Northam three starts back and her past two runs have been meritorious. She began well, raced one out two back and battled away soundly when 6th to Dream Guest last Friday. LITTLE BIG SISTER (9) was placed behind Eastwood Fire and Ima Spicey Lombo during December. She hasn’t been seen since fading to finish last behind Smart Cullen January 14. If the speed is on she will hit the line well. PAMPER (10) continues to race well. She raced leaders back when 2nd to Island Storm January 21. At her latest run she made late ground out wide when 2nd to Chelsea Diamond at Narrogin January 26. CARIM COURAGE (7) is hard to catch but there is no denying her ability. She faced the breeze and fought on well when finishing 2nd to Copper Beach Girl last Friday. MISS AZOOMA (11) has been consistent of late. She followed up placings at Albany and Northam with a game all the way victory over Big Town Drive on Monday. She did beat a good field at her latest run. PREMIUM UNLEADED (5) has been in fine form for Hayden Reeves. She has won three of her past five starts. She was beautifully driven when defeating Secret Stone at Pinjarra January 24. On the back up last Friday she was badly checked in the race won by Kamwood Holmes. DIAL A TAXI (4) has been placed in each of her past three starts. She led then trailed when 3rd to Bruce Almighty January 18. At her latest run she attempted to lead throughout when 3rd to Chelsea Diamond at Narrogin January 26.
SELECTIONS: ELENA S (8), ELLA SUE (3), KAMWOOD HOLMES (6), BARLEYS HOPE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ELENA S (8) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi Trifecta 3, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 20.00%)

Race 9:
CONTE CENTOVALLI (8) was noticeable when finishing 4th to Scram Jet January 21. He then gave backers a great sight when he breezed, surged forward over the concluding stages and had a great battle with Ohoka Samson before finishing a close 2nd to that highly promising pacer last Friday. OCTOBER SON (10) is a 10yo who is racing in spirited form. He raced one out one back and looked the winner a long way from home when defeating Kamwood Holmes January 14. He then breezed and battled away well when 2nd to Dream Guest last Friday. GONE TO CARLTON (5) has been racing well on country tracks and he could give a sight at odds. The 5yo was too strong at Bunbury January 11 before fighting on strongly to finish 2nd behind Buster Armbro at Harvey January 29. PACIFIC IDOL (6) has been a model of consistency since joining the stables of Brad Groves. He was handy throughout when 4th to Dream Guest last Friday. The one concern is that he is not genuine from a stand. JACKDYLAN (9) is a one-paced 9yo who has been in fine form of late. The big gelding has finished runner up in five of his past six starts. He was up on the speed throughout and battled away well when 2nd to Liquid Radar at Northam January 27. PATS DILEMMA (7) strips fitter following three runs back from a spell and he could be worthy of consideration. He attempted to lead throughout when finishing 4th to All Our Mac at Northam January 27. ULTIMA CHANCE (1) won well at Harvey early December but his two runs since have been poor. It is hard to gauge where he is at and market moves may be a guide. BORN TO GROOVE (3) has been in fine form at Busselton. The 7yo won consecutive events before finishing 2nd to Jaccka Laird in the Cup last Friday. WAIKAWA BAY (12) is a good stand performer. He has only been placed in one of eight starts this season and the outside of 10m not ideal. He attempted to lead throughout when 4th to Salliwood last Friday. HELENA STREET (2) resumes and the 5yo won three races last season. He hasn’t been seen since suffering an atrial fibrillation September 17. He was placed in a recent Pinjarra stand trial and he generally gets away. AUTUMN FLOWER (4) has also been racing well at Busselton having won two of her past four starts on that track. She led throughout to defeat Arts Gangsta last Friday. TARA VILLAGE (12) generally steps well but a 10m handicap over the short stand distance is a tough assignment. Her recent racing has been at Busselton and this represents a rise in grade.
SELECTIONS: CONTE CENTOVALLI (8), OCTOBER SON (10), GONE TO CARLTON (5), PACIFIC IDOL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CONTE CENTOVALLI (8) each way
EXOTIC BET: Flexi Trifecta 8, 10 / 5, 6, 8, 10 / FD (Cost $30 for 50.00%)

Race 10:
RED SUCCESS (6) worked forward early to face the breeze and the mare was too strong when defeating Esprit Bromac at Bunbury January 22. She may have looked disappointing but the times suggested it was always going to be hard for her to win when 4th to Chelsea Diamond in 1.56.5 at Narrogin January 26. BETTA CRUSA (11) has had two forgettable runs fro Ron Huston and improvement here is certainly on the cards. He was badly away in a stand January 8 then had gear problems last Friday when 8th (last) behind Zanardi. SECRET STONE (7) finished runner up in consecutive starts here and at Pinjarra before a last start 5th to Zanardi last Friday when he raced three back on the pegs. FACE YOUR FEARS (12) had a war of attrition early with Jackmandoo last Friday and that put an end to his wining possibilities but he wasn’t disgraced when 3rd to Beach Bandit. He is awkwardly drawn but must be an each way chance. MAGUINESS (2) hasn’t done a great deal since resuming from a spell. He led and compounded when distanced behind Westwind Renegade at Narrogin January 26. The 6yo is ideally drawn and if rated up on the speed he could figure in the finish. NO COVER CHARGE (1) has been soundly beaten in two runs since arriving from Victoria. He was badly away and broke when distanced behind James Morrison at Narrogin January 26. The draw suits. CONSTANT ADDICTION (9) has been consistent but he will find this assignment tough from barrier 9. He ran 2nd to Sandler two starts back and then faced the breeze when 4th to Idolize Me at Northam January 27.THE CESSANATOR (5) has had the benefit of three runs back from a spell. He has had to do his share of work in his past two outing and the barrier draw doesn’t extend itself to an easy run. SMART PAY (5) cannot win on exposed form. The 5yo has had his chances of late but he just can’t finish his races off. He was soundly beaten when 10th to Idolize Me at Northam January 27. ARMBRO INGERSOLL (10) has been getting beaten in easier races at Busselton. The 9yo has drawn to get a soft run but it is hard to envisage success on what he has been delivering of late. HES A FALCON (3) doesn’t have the form on the board. The 8yo has been unplaced in four runs back from a spell and his form doesn’t warrant consideration. YIPPY YI YALBERT (4) is a 10yo who hasn’t won a race since October 2006 and despite being in good hands a win appears out of the question.
SELECTIONS: RED SUCCESS (6), BETTA CRUSA (11), SECRET STONE (7), FACE YOUR FEARS (12)
SUGGESTED BET: RED SUCCESS (6) win
EXOTIC BET: Flexi First Four 6, 11 / 6, 7, 11, 12 / 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12 / FD (Cost $30 for 11.11%)
INVEST $ RETURN $ PROFIT / LOSS $

Harness Perth Preview - Richard Bell BET NOW

GLOUCESTER PARK

RACE 5 NO 2 COUNTRY CHANGE
Can dominate from Gate 2. Should be alongside Smoking Again early and can then dictate. Her last two efforts have been very solid including her hard working second to Salliwood last week.

RACE 6 NO 8 ALZONA
Very effective from the standing start and looks well handicapped. Has been competing admirably in top company and a quick start should see him put into a position to win by Prentice.

RACE 7 NO 12 PABLITO
Forget he ever ran last week. His prior run was enormous when a photo finish third to Aussie Reactor and Jumbo Operator. Can drive through on the back of Irish Oneil early in the race and with a positive drive he should be able to play a big part in the finish.

FLEXI TRIFECTA: Race 5 No 2, 11

I see that TabOZBET (W.A. Tab) have a Quartet (First 4) Jackpot of $5,000 on Race 6 tomorrow night at Globe Derby.
Doing the right thing and putting some of the first 4 Jackpot money from S.A. trots back onto S.A. trots races UNLIKE S.A.s Tab, Unitab that SHAFTS S.A. trots by putting 99.90% of S.A. Trots Jackpot money onto ALBION Park trots.

Any tips for race 6 tomorrow night to help me out. Need to win a few $$$$$ to pay for my failed poker tournaments. ;)

Race 5) UNIONS UNITED - much improved run last start should get a lovely trip behind the leader and will be sprinting home hard.

nice work on race 1 - wins $4.20

race 4 - 2nd

race 5 - wins $4.20

very nice effort there

yeah i am disappointed to have tipped a loser though. I am sorry as i let the newcomer for the Mr Giorgio stable slip without a thought, as im sure a few other people did the same.

Seeing as JJ is going to punt on the meeting, and Crazy is tipping well, here is Saturdays tips

Try these in Exotics to be winning or placed

R1-2 BLUEY JASPER ..races very well, will go well
R2-5 MILLWOOD PC...if driven extremely quietly, should be placed
R3-2 POWERSHIFT...looks leader and might run a cheeky race
R4-7 SOUND SYSTEM...not going to bet in this race, but SS can be in the finish
R5-1 THE DARL...likley to be back on the fence, I would ease it back to last, and then unleash
R6-11 SIMON TAPERTIT...reliable trotter, likely to be in the finish
R7-3 OHOKAS CULLEN...Looks the winner
R8-3 TIGER ORIELLY...keeps running well, go well

BEST BET
R7-3 OHOKAS CULLEN
IF you get black odds .....

I noticed that Tattsbet bets fixed odds on events all over the world
They bet on SA thoroughbred races
They bet on SA greyhounds
But wont bet on SA trots

Scared or smart is the question

Bad news
Victor Harbour non TAB meeting has been scrapped on Sunday
Ive been informed that a lack of acceptances was the reason

REASON/REASONS ???
GDP FRI 8 RACES
GDP SAT 9 RACES
GDP MON 10 RACES

My advice would be not to programme VH NON TAB meetings when there are 3 meetings at GDP in 4 days
I would programme further VH meetings on a Sunday to coincide with a Port Pirie Friday meeting

now if TOMorrows forecast is correct & TOMorrow nights strathalbyn (at gdp) meeting is washed out would the strathalbyn club consider running their meeting at either victor harbor or at strathalbyn on sunday as the non tab meeting ????.....i would but it WONT happen in a million years......!!!!!!!!!

they usually get criticised when 'things go wrong' but the track staff should be applauded for the condition the track is in tonight for gdp meeting especially considering how 'waterlogged' the track was last night.....well done to all concerned

while we're here i think race 8 no 9 seems good odds atm ($2.80) while no 5 can be trusted for the multis as well

WELL DONE TO THE TRACK STAFF
