They should have gone for Gary instead.

Ever since he came back from the scousers, he hasn't been worth a pinch. Can't even make the bench in half the games, past his golden best, but great player for the Spurs in his time, good luck to the man.

Spurs make an offer to Newcastle for Carroll but Liverpool have gazumpt them with a higher offer.
Harry also chasing Ashley Young but Villa have offered an improved contract

JTC, please chase this down and see whether it has any legs. Word in Aus is that Levy is trying to move Harry on and has put in a bid for "the chosen one - Maurinho". That is why the cash dried up for Arry and couldn't buy late in the transfer window.

Not heard any of that mate. As for cash drying up Adams was a done deal at just under £8m but the Blackpool directors went AWOL went it came to signing the docs. Arry also had a £25m bid turned down by Villareal for ? Whoever it was.

I think Arry is nicely settled at Spurs for the forseeable future.

Agreed - about 10 or 20 more goals would see us with similar goal difference as our top-four rivals.

Just watched it Fish, not a totally convincing performance, but 3 points at Ewood Park you would take every day of the week. I think Crouch and Defoe were talking a different language, had no feel for each other at all. Top game by Vanders, showed his true class and probably a work ethic that people thought he did not have. Good to see Woodgate on the bench, hopefully Arry will ease him into the lineup, will give us 4 world class centre backs when fit and back from suspension. Hopefully we can take 3 from Bolton on the weekend and put us back in the top 4 calculations.

Drawing is considerd dropping points. (To me anyway) Unless Tottenham go out to aim for a draw

Whether your aim is to draw or not, if you draw you get a point so in the context of your reply to " picking up points" a win or a draw is picking up points
