Adelaide manager Tony Harris out to the mound for a chat with Mark Brackman, don't think he is bringing him out of the game. just reminding him how importsant it is to shut this inning out.

Miss hit from Perth bounces over Brackman's head scoring a run for Perth to reduce the Bite's lead to 2 runs...

Still 1 out with bases loaded...

Another run scored for Perth in the next at bat with a ground out to first base, now 4-3 in Adelaide's favour...

Perth's home crowd getting really vocal now, with Adelaide pitcher Mark Brackman coming out of the game...

New pitcher for the Bite is Adrian Burnside, well done to Brackman, but dangerous time for the Bite now, the change had to happen...

The lights have just been turned on* here at Barbagallo Ball Park...

Important fielding inning for the Bite here, must be strong defensively, c'mon now Adelaide...

Burnside pitching for the Bite, get's the 1st out with Ronald Welty hitting to Quincy Latimore in left field who takes the catch looking into the setting sun...

Perth 1 out now, Tim Kennelly in the batters box for the home side but out on strikes, now 2 away for the Heat...

Perth bring in a pinch hitter with crowd favourite Lachlan Dale taking to the batters box then immediately puts a safe hit to deep left field (metres within foul territory) to get to 2nd base and in a score levelling position...

Mitch Graham in the box for the Heat, 2 out, runner on 2nd (Dale has had a pinch runner replace him) and the crowd is really getting behind the home side...

1 out Adelaide, that is all we need now, c'mon Adrian Burnside, find the strike zone...

Adelaide 1 out with 1st baseman Ben Wigmore now in the batters box for the Bite but he doesn't last long getting out on strikes for 2 away...

Josh Cakebread now at bat for Adelaide, need to get a safe hit on base but he is swinging, has a 0-2 count on him...

Fouls off the strike 3 pitch to stay alive. That breeze (gale earlier today) has dropped a fair bit now and Cakebread, on cue, gets a nice safe hit to centre field bringing Jeremy Creswell to the batter's box...

Creswell with a 1-2 count against him - goes down swinging for side away for the Bite...

1 scoreless inning away from Adelaide winning game 1 - the crowd REALLY getting into it...
