Would be ironic if he won it this year after missing out a few seasons ago. Has had a good year, but nothing like what he did that season.

What are peoples thoughts on having a different PDCA umpire on each week of the game as is happening in our Grade 3 game this week.

First week we had Don Pearce and today we are having Coxy

We had that happen earlier in the season in grade 2. 1st week we had Merlin, 2nd week we had McMurtrie. Didnt bother us but obviously it is better to have the same umpire both weeks for consistency.

Your 2 umpires are like chalk and cheese.

Yeah thats the funny part they are probably at the opposite ends of the scale.

I guess its better than having 10 or so different blokes doing it which would have been the case if we didnt have them.

Great finish, some handy 2nd innings points there for the Lodge. Who was in the box seat for the 1st innings points? Any controversy?

Not a bad days cricket today from rosies to create a outright chance for both teams....got the 4 wickets needed in about 6 overs..then went out and made 150odd dec giving AV 86 off 21 overs...final score 7 for 78..
Felt we played the way we want to play and will take abit of confidence out of it...
Also just quietly....i bowled a swift short ball that climbed up towards pete carmens chin hitting him in the shoulder...this might just get pete to create a username and tell his side of the story ;)

Went down by a couple wickets. Definitely had our chances, poor fielding cost us in the end.

Luke Harris batted very well for Riverside, making 79 in fairly quick time. Some very clean hitting, and Benny McMullen was the hero an unbeaten 50 steered them home. Very disappointing that we couldn't finish them off. Looks like will cost a home final with Craigmore poised to do an outright on OTH.

Riverside making a late charge, would imagine SW would not have beaten CU so I am assuming they enter the 4 after this round.

Craigmore won outright in grade 2. Easily beat OTH by 10 wickets.
