Typcal Fergusson. His son gets the boot at PNE so he recalls all his loanees in retaliation.
Let's face it, it wasn't working for Fergie jnr his record since taking charge is poor with PNE rooted at the foot of the table and adrift of the other relegation contenders.
But what damage has Fergie snr done to his sons managerial career prospects by acting so petulant? What other club will want to risk the same reaction if they took on jnr?

Speaking of Leeds. They have always been immensely unpopular mainly for thier thuggish gameplan as much as thier thuggish fans, but I would say they are even more despised now, since they screwed all thier creditors with a CVA only to announce record profits the next year.
It's easy to be a successful business when you don't have to pay your bills, you have 30k fans paying at the turnstiles at home games.
If you don't have to pay your bills like all the others clubs you can afford more on player wages etc.

Cardiff look like going the same way a d guess what, the ex chairman of Leeds is the chairman of Cardiff so they have the experience in place to screw thier credits already. If Cardiff fail to make it to the promised land this season, expect them to go bust and start again

Yeah very suprised by that. Poor attitude IMHO and will probably harm his sons chance at another club.
Man shitty and newcastle change managers every couple of months so he could end up there :D

Don't think the Epl could do anything about it, if Cardiff are one of the promoted sides. I know that UEFA are pushing for a change but I'm not sure that has been ratified yet.
What pisses me with clubs like Cardiff is they splash the cash on players they clearly can't afford. If it works and they get promoted all is rowdy. If it doesn't and they don't get promoted, they go into administration, do CVA to write off 95% of thier debt and start again with a clean slate. Cardiff could go bust later in the season, take the 10 or 15 point deduction and still retain thier ccc league status.
Leeds tried it on the last week of the season. They were already relegated so they thought the deduction wouldn't affect them for the next season. Good on the FA for at least adding the deduction for the following year but they didn't do anything about Leeds disgraceful actions in screwing all thier creditors and still coming out the other side richer and better placed than all of thier league 1 rivals

Im sure the epl can deny promotion. They must have similar rules to spl, remember falkirk and livingston not allowed to come up becausr their grounds didnt have enough capacity.
Totally agree about cardiff. They can wait till last match of season, go into administration, cop the 15 points and still be in championship next season without ever paying a cent back. Penalty isnt hard enough, kick them out the league and make them come back through non-league ranks, that would atleast take them 3 years to get back where they are now

Ground capacity won't be an issue for Cardiff.
Christ they let Blackpool in with the shittiest ground in the top 3 divisions.
I was referring to the new financial rules UEFA are implementing

Former Manchester United star Roy Keane has been sacked as manager of Ipswich after 20 months in the job, the club confirmed Friday.

The club have lost seven of their last nine games and the 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Monday left them sitting 19th in the Championship, England's second division.

"I can confirm that Ipswich Town have amicably terminated the contract of our manager Roy Keane with immediate effect," Ipswich chief executive Simon Clegg said at a press conference to announce the decision.

"It's a sad day for the football club," Clegg added, saying Keane had reacted to his dismissal with "disappointment and sadness."

Keane, 39, led the club from eastern England to the semi-finals of the League Cup where they will face Arsenal.

Keane's sacking also comes just 48 hours before Ipswich face Chelsea in the FA Cup third round on Sunday. First-team coach Ian McParland will take charge at Stamford Bridge.

A combative Irish midfielder who captained United when they won the treble of league, FA Cup and Champions League in the 1998-99 season, Keane started his management career at Sunderland.

He guided Sunderland to promotion to the Premier League but resigned in December 2008 with the club struggling against relegation. He joined Ipswich in April 2009.

Burnley make formal approach to Norwich for permission to speak to manager Paul Lambert. Norwich refuse but somehow I don't feet that is the end of the story.

Holloway might be a suprise package for the Burnley job. Blackpool are slipping ominously close to the relegation zone especially with Wolves and West Ham clawing thier way back into it.
I know he has no money to spend and has been unhappy with the board who didn't even give him a contract until after they were promoted.

All the EPL money has gone and he has moved to a house only 5kms from Burnley

Bellamy has been charged and bailed for assault after an incident in Cardiff on Sunday morning
When they say Morning I am assuming it is the early hours.
Something is just not right at Cardiff ATM and this kind of thing just reinforces that opinion
Bellamy is on an Est £70k a week with Cardiff paying just under Half of that. He was a big risk and the hoohaa of his signing and Cardiff''s early season form all seem a long time ago

Leeds have uncovered a gem. Davide Somma has scored 11 times this season. He's come off the bench numerous times, but has only had 11 starts due to a change in formation with Simon Grayson playing a 4-5-1 and Lucciano Becchio being the number 1 striker.
Somma scored his first international goal against Kenya this morning.

It's good to see a couple of Leeds players making their national team squads.

Somma - South Africa
Snodgrass - Scotland
Howson (C) - England Under 21s

It's getting pretty tight around the Playoff spots in the Championship.
IMO, QPR and Nottingham Forest are looking the goods to secure Automatic Promotion.
With Cardiff and Norwich reasonably secure in the playoff spots.
Then there are teams like Leeds, Swansea, Leicester, Watford, Millwall etc who could easily go on a good run of form and make their way into the top 6. The next month will be crucial for some teams to determine where they will finish this season.
