Drawing is considerd dropping points. (To me anyway) Unless Tottenham go out to aim for a draw

TWR, I thought the post said "still picking up points", you brought in the dropping points, so technically you are an idiot and JTC is perfectly correct.

Decision not until tomorrow UK time, good luck to them if they do, but not sure right decision for the stadium, but there you go. Lord Coe will obviously have a big influence on the decision makers, we were over the line on the original decision day. We might share the Emirates with you mob. You are touchy aren't you.

I can understand their frustration with the local council though.
Not sure West Ham can afford or fill a new stadium if they get relegated at the end of the year. They are a pretty well supported club to be fair but as with any other club, "loyal" fans do drop off when you are in the lower leagues.

I heard some rumours a few years back about spurs not being able to secure land for a full stadium near white hart lane and they were deciding to build the new stadium but could only build half until it was off season in the EPL then finish it in the off season as the new stadium only half fitted in the land they where allowed to build on which bordered the current stadium? Wouldnt that be better then moving somewhere else?

I've always found getting to Tottenham relatively easy. Good tube service 5 mins from the ground, mainline rail service and half a dozen bus routes. Going to the Olympic stadium would be a bit like going to footy park.
I think the difference in housing is that whilst there is some low quality housing around WHL, it's all occupied. A lot of the housing and industrial buildings around the Olympic site were derelict.

That will teach me to believe the Spurs web site.

Yep, I reckon the league is beyond us this season, with our points deficit and inferior goal difference.Jim05 wrote:fish wrote:Another fine win by Spurs overnight puts them right back into top-four contention!
