Um, Scud, you seem to have a small tinge of brown on the end of your nose....
Will this Sunday be the swan-song for Kocho in the 1-day competition too?
His bowling has been very handy this year and one of the reasons for Ango's success.
As for the Ango line-up, they are a balanced team without any massive stand-outs, Ben Burgess is
the only batter that stands above the others, the bowling has several prongs that can make it happen
on any given week, with a number of potential match-winners.

Kocho and Grippo from Light Pass certainly seem to have been the pick of the one day spinners. Grippo with a few more wickets, and Kocho a fraction more economical, so I guess its a bit of a gut feel between them.

Kocho gets over the line for mine if he can include runouts off his bowling :)

Just wondering who to look out for in this years one day grand final as im going to tanunda on sunday, and will be again looking for players to represent Port Adelaide in next years T20 comp.

Will Bradley Kurtz be playing??? seen schwartkoff this week hit 100 for mid north so looking forward to seeing him again.

Anyway just thought id ask the people who know.

cheers Neil G.

Sorry Neil but schwartzkoff plays for tanunda so he won't be involved on sunday. As im a angaston man i can tell you to look out for the two burgess brother. One is a batsmen/keeper the other a bowling all rounder. Nick pech who has been devastating this year with some quick fire innings. Brett woodards and matt blenkiron two young fast bowlers. But any of the angaston 11 would be worth watching

Scud, Kocho still playing for you boys up at Ango.

Simon will be playing on Sunday in the GF against Nuri. Game is at Tanunda and should be a good spectacle. Both sides are pretty evenly matched and it will be the side that brings their A game. It might be time for some sleeping assassins in the Ango team to stand up at the right end of the season.

I am starting to think those 'sleeping assassins' might actually be 'comatose assassins',
it has been so long since they have shown signs of life.

Grippo has certainly had a great season, think he night be laeding wicket taker in the comp and made some handy contributiuons with the bat, would imagine he might be leading the points cricketer of the year

Might make a quick phone call to make sure the sprinklers haven't been left on before I head over for a look on Sunday.
Is it fair enough to suggest Angaston's on field dominance this year can be attributed to the Barry Burgess leadership qualities.
My information is that the team is currently feeding from his hand and would walk over hot coals for him.

Junior Burgess has been a very large part of Angastons success this year,
has implemented some subtle changes that have brought the boys together nicely as a unit.
Sure, we don't have the group cuddle, but we have gelled extremely well this season.
Even with a few guys struggling.......
We can get a lot better too.

KOS, the side hasn't changed much from throughout the 1 day matches so should line up something like:

M. Doecke
B. Kurtz
S. Rathjen
Be. Burgess
N. Pech
Br. Burgess
S. Koch
B. Woodards
B. Klemm
M. Blenkiron
T. Herrmann

12. A. Murphy

KOS, are you focussing on one name in particular?
Brett Woodards perhaps?
He has been bowling his ego off this year and a couple of handy knocks with the bat,
and is a definite reason we have been going so well.
We need an opening bat though, I wonder where his brother is when you need him?

I would very much doubt that mate, i hear he is keen to continue playing and is also pretty keen to avoid playing 2's for some unknown reason, ;)

Whispers going around the game today about Angaston match fixing.
Failed to chase down Gilbert Valley's 120.
President may have to investigate further.

Heard the same Duke. Apparently the captains from both sides are best mates.

Thought I would give a heads up, as Stewie, UTP, Daysof and Scud might sleep through their alarms.
Big Barry Burgess has been given the keys to the town after guiding the Angaston boys to victory when Nuri fell over for 100 runs.
Big Barry drove the knife into the Nuri bowlers after hitting them too all areas of the ground.
Burgess Snr just nudged his junior out for Man of the Match honours with a match winning 60 odd. Was talking to UTP during Burgess Snr’s innings, he thought it was one of the better knocks seen by Burgess Snr.
Koch also made a match winning decision to call for a runner. Didn’t think a pre-existing handicap could constitute a runner.

That sounds like the most controversial runners call since Trott did it in the one dayers. I didn't know you could call for a runner for being too slow.

I recall something similar with arjuna ranatunga in the 1995 world cup final
