Parafield Gardens 9/154 vs R&C.. batted all day.

Grade 4 - R&C handed a lesson from SW all out for 68 and SW are 4/95 at stumps.

Geez with Brahma and R&C highly unlikely to pull off an outright, this could see SW race to the top if they get the job done next week. Did not see the above result occuring before the start of play (1st inns after Day 1)

Great to see Nugget get the big score he deserves, many 30-40's this year. Bet a fair few of Jonty's 51 went into the school?

Salisbury North bowled out for 139 in grade 2, our guys 0-0 afte 2 overs. Furnell bowled well, 30 overs 5-62, including a very good return catch (only worth 3 fielding votes though  )

I did see on the PDCA website that Central United are 3-3 chasing Craigmore's 120 odd. Must be disappointing for Craigmore to only make 120, but still are well in it to inflict CU's first loss for the year.

Focused group today with something to prove. Justin Davies has lifted a cog showing that he is THE class bowler of the competition coming into finals.

Should've passed the score 4 down until Wizard of Oz barbecued the captain. Lost 2 quick ones immediately after first innings points were taken in the last over before the declaration.

You guys have sorta been flying under the radar, with all the talk about R&C and the Lodge. SW are still flag favourites for me. Davies will be huge to the fortunes of SW come finals, especially since Picton has left. I think Brahma will have a big say come finals, but it all depends on who finishes where. Top spot is the key.

Is it just me or do OTH selectors have rocks in their heads. They select 2 guys from their c grade into their A grade pick a player who spat it at his team mates last week and threatened to quit the club in their A grade and dropped one of their leading bowlers in their B grade to their C grade.

Are they chasing a C grade finals berth?

although me and Broca011 only added 13 or 14 to the total between us and the other guy who went up dropped a sitter at mid-off and didnt take a wicket... the side won first innings in a day! Maybe individual selections werent justified in week one but it is a team game and maybe the performance of the other 8 blokes on the day was helped by having people in the side that WANT TO BE THERE

explain why you would take two guys from your Cs and put them in the As if you were "chasing a C grade finals berth"? wouldnt you be trying to send guys the other way? I see where you going with the bowler you mentioned but 1 in and 2 out isnt exactly the way you "chase" finals

You upset about something SF??? I actually took the gloves (and have been keeping for a few weeks now) and felt like i did a pretty good job. Fumbled a couple but no byes and took a couple of catches, job done until Fanta is back next week.

Pretty sure if OTH were chasing a C grade finals birth both duckman and I would have been in the C's and your boys would have been chasing more than 170 odd...
