Kilburn will be fit with all the work that Jamie Thomas is putting into them. Noticed a couple of handy pickups also that trained on Thursday.

Good to see Thomas Colson and Jamin Tripp on the track out at Kilburn. Im sure that Kilburn would be very happy if they can secure their services this year.

How do people come up this rubbish about "its going to be another even year" etc etc. What basis is there to say that? No ones played a game yet and no one knows who gained or lost who (largely). There will be good teams and crap teams like every year.

its a gd point though. every year it starts of with a couple of teams who recruit about 50 players, than the trial matches start with every team havin 30 ppl not playing and then its going to be another even year.

although last year they were right in div 5. 3rd-8th seperated by one game

What news of Heards Heros...will the boys from Scotch rise out of the ashes of season 2011 or are they on the slippery slide to the depths of A5 and extinction?

The rumour has it Andrew Hargreaves will be on Mega $$$ over at Camperdown in the Hampden League - will he be worth the big bucks??? Camperdown always pay their recruits very well - just not sure who chased who though? Anyhow another one bites the dust at Fizroy.

Yeah we already knew Andy was heading back home to Victoria at the end of last year he won our B&F last season & good luck to him, the kid can play as he was Patrick Danderfields Captain in the TAC U/18's for the Geelong Falcons.

Yeah numbers are a little down on previous years with a few departures but still have 30-45 on the training track with the cricket season finishing soon we get another half a dozen or so. Think we have had 55-60 players over all train but not all at once so should be running 3 x Sides at Fitzroy in 2011.

3 x Trial Games coming up against.

Sunday March 6th vs Sailsbury West (H).
A's 1:00pm & B's/C's 11:00am.

Saturday March 12th vs North Haven (H).
A's 2:15pm & B's/C's 12:15pm.

Friday March 18th vs Brahma Lodge (H).
A's 8:00pm & B's 6:30pm.

Fitzroy 2011!

Div 4/Div 4R.
Greenacres (H), Elizabeth (A), Unley (H), Scotch (A), Pulteney (H), Hectorville (A), Westminster (H), Kilburn (A), Salisbury (H).

C4.
Hope Valley (A), Elizabeth (H),Unley (A), Scotch (H), Pulteney (A), Hectorville (H), Plympton (H), Adelaide Lutheran (A).

Any Team in bold that would like play Triple Header Games vs Fitzroy please contact our club.

Good to see Pulteney with 3 x Sides again but what has happened to Greenacres, Kilburn & Westminster C Grade Sides this year as Westminster were very competitive against us both games last season?

Our club still appears to be hibernating for the summer, poor numbers on the track and nobody cares...cricket, work and social commitments seem the main offenders....will be a long year for the Dragons I fear

Just don't have the overall numbers to make it viable unfortunately. Will continue to try and get more guys out to the club though and maybe look at it again next year.
