I have no problem with that, just the expectation some seem to have that every club can have all the scores updated on the Saturday night.

Most peoples mobiles have the internet on them. I try to have mine done before 8pm sat night. Takes me about 2 minutes on my mobile. A few others at the club do aswell

That would be just the score confirmations wouldn't it? We have to have the scores e-mailed by 11am Sunday and confirmed on "mycricket" by 6pm Sunday.

We dont have to email any scores.
I log onto mycricket sat evening and enter match scores. On sunday i enter the player scores. I think we are meant to have scores in by 5pm sunday(the bunyip uses mycricket) and we have until thursday to fill in all the stats.
Takes about 2 minutes on my phone to access mycricket and enter scores on saturday evening. If the other team beats me to it then it only takes a minute to confirm score

Im bored as, no customers for like 2 hours. Catchit, looks like im not as good at this as you think.

I have decided to do what i believe is the team of the year.. not the best players in the association. picked from Grade 1 (im sure there could be every grade but I only know of the people that I have played against)

Here it is!

Brooks (R&C)
Groover (BL)
Sibbick (BL)
Ozlins (SW)
Stamatovich (R&C)
Carmen.P (AV)
Leo (Vir)
Jenner (wk) (R&C)
Davies (SW)
McInnes (SW)
Carmen.J (AV)

12th man. Davies (SW)

Let us know your thoughts/your team.

How do amateur league footy get their scores in?

Do they get scores, best players and goal kickers all in on Saturday night?

We know Davies is good but not sure he can open the bowling, bat 8 and be 12th man as well.

Should be interesting tonight, an Eastern Park A Grade side takes on a combined A+B grade Salisbury West side tonight at Dwight Reserve.

Is a 40 over match played this thursday and then next thursday.

Should be a good valuable hit out for both sides.

Yeah that was the last one I was tossing up between. Went with Leo due to the runs... but Davies with 7 odd on the weekend puts the case forward as well. Both deserve to be in. Super Sub maybe?

Great idea OKC!

For Grade 3 a team of the year would look something like this. I have based it on what i have seen and their full season statistics. Where a couple players were failry close i went with the bloke who had played more games in Grade 3 this season.

1. L.Morris (EPFC)
2. N.Lock (ATCO)
3. D.Thomas (CU)
4. N.Eleftheriadis (SMI)
5. D.Boomer (CRA)
6. B.Tomlinson (ATCO)
7. B.Banks (WK) (EPFC)
8. G.Sutton (ATCO)
9. B.Ryall (EPFC)
10. C.Walker (CU)
11. R.Andrews (EPFC)

12th J.Tuckwell (SMI)

Unlucky- B.Moore, A.Fry, D.Jeffrey, S.Rydquist
