Not sure on what's going on at Trinity.
Spoke to someone from club last week - but it didn't sound like there was too much happening in the way of recruits.

Dear Valued Member

Please take a moment to read this letter as it contains information about changes and other news regarding the Paralowie Sports and Social Club.

As you may have heard our club has been approved for $350,000 for extensions to our clubrooms. I’d like to share the details with you so you are aware as to what will be happening over the coming months. The extensions will include a full kitchen, new bar facilities more spacious club rooms fully refurbished for your enjoyment and wait for it our very own Home and Visitors change rooms! We are all excited about this change and hope you are too.

On a sad note our club was burgled twice during the month of January this year; as a result of the break in we lost several items, which included sports equipment, money and alcohol. Whilst this news is devastating to the club and those involved; we know every cloud has a silver lining, which brings me to some great news; On Friday 2 February 2007 we had a segment on Triple M asking for community support; through this we gained $10,000 worth of donations, which included numerous things such as sports equipment and electrical goods; We thank those who donated generously during a time of need.

Further good news is we have a write up in the Messenger on Wednesday 13 February concentrating on recruiting new junior and senior football players to our club and asking for more volunteers.

Sporting news – All senior cricket teams are travelling well, and we are hoping to make the up and coming finals. Senior Football training is well underway with the coaches doing well attracting new and exciting players. Junior football is progressing well with the eagerly awaited sign up day on Sunday 18 February from 11.00am to 1.00pm. hope you can join us and show your support for our newly recruited juniors.

Entertainment news – as one of the donations from our segment on Triple M a band (24 / 7) has offered their services for a free show, we are currently planning to hold this on Saturday 14 April after the first game of Senior football. We expect this to be a huge night and request your attendance and support!

In summary our club is possibly in it’s strongest ever sporting and financial position it has ever been in quite some time. While our club still has a long road ahead, we stand poised to launch the club into a new era of performance, participation and facilities.

“Gets behind the club that gets behind the juniors!” – Daniel Stone – President.

promises to be a cracker of a year

heard a rumour, that it may be an 8 team comp, with only clubs whos "A" grade team plays in div 7 will be able to compete

we will know very soon though with the draw due soon

what ive gathered around the place

*Paralowie lost a large portion of there 2006 team but have picked up a few?

*Trinity have a new coach and a few new players but will have the same team as in 2006

*Saint Pauls picked up a couple of older blokes, but look to finish 2 better then in 06

*North Pines, pretty quiet and may be lacking numbers? unknow team

*Wingfield picked up a new coach plus some houghton blokes, will start well, how will they finish

*Flinders Uni heard they may come up to div 7

*Colonel Light picked up quite a number or recruits from the southern league, were a decent div 6 team and will be hard to beat

*Kaurna Eagles, relagated after cheating last year, will start well

so ill do a ladder prediction...

will leave out my lads clgfc

Saint Pauls
Wingfield
Trinity
Paralowie
Kaurna
North Pines
Flinders

Anyone wanna have a crack?

Where's your mail coming from Scotty?
An 8 team comp would be interesting....sort of in favour of it sick of playing C and D grade teams.....only thing is it'd make it a hell of a lot easier to make the top 5 with only 8 teams in the comp.
